I'll be interested to see if Nene can be effective against Howard. The guy has been on a tear this season.

Nene looks ready this time. He's had a few bumpy spots - but he's got his legs, and I think the push will help when he's going up against Howard.

My prediction: Dwight has a ridiculously good game, however Rashard and Turk perform below average, and the Nuggets win by 5.

AI and Melo are both heavily reliant on their elbows/forearms to wedge themselves around defenders on offense. before he started wearing the arm-pad I specifically remember Melo mentioning minor injuries to his elbow on multiple occasions.

Hopefully the nuggets come out fast and try to push the pace to our favor,i hope k-mart or nene can slow dwight down a bit, take the hard foul on him because he's obviously an awful free throw shooter.Melo need to have a good game this time around, hopefully he'll contribute in rebounding and assist and most importantly DEFENSE,He's probably guarding either lewis or turkulu so hopefully he plays smart and not get into foul trouble early.

This game is important because were currently behind portland(who would of thought) for the division lead and were also on a mini two game road trip afterward so we need to win this before we had out.My prediction, nuggets 108 magic 96.

GO NUGGETS!

I'm really psyched to see another sixty+ shot attempts from two players.

Got to hope for the best - 3 of 4 in 5 days plus a win over Orlando 3 days later is actually decent - and hoping for both Atlanta games, they are getting close to 10 wins this month already.

To get to 55-60 they need 9-10 per month....one of the months has to be a big month. That would be so nice if January was that month.

Has there been a single game where AI/Melo combined for 60+ shot attempts?

I'm just interested to see how Coach GK is going to manage his roster tonite with one true Point Guard. AI is going to have to play some point which means JR or Yak will get minutes at Shooting guard.

I think Orlando are to strong at the guard spots with Nelson, Reddick, Evans, Dooling and sometimes Turk for this Nuggets squad. Martin, Nene, Kleiza and Camby are going to have to stay out of foul trouble trying to contain D-12 in the paint.

Secretly, Augmon will suit up tonite and shut down his old teammates.

Just kidding guys

hope we can win this one. would really be a great sign. i think we can do this. it's time to continue our strong start of new year! we really need to get this division lead back. i'm hopin nene improves again like he did after every game so far :)

nuggets win 109:98?

A.I. for 40? 45? 50? or 65 points tonight? A.I. had many of his greatest games against the magic. his career high (60pts) was against them just 2 years ago.

EDIT: Did you guys realize that Howard never missed a game since he joined the nba 4 seasons ago? he only hasn't the longest streak because there was ONE game where he didn't started the game. he came of the bench in one game during his 2nd season. this is unbelievable especially for a big man o.o

He plays 2 minutes of garbage time. Hunter gets more minutes.

edit: as JR said himself, as long as the team's winning

Go Nuggets!
