I feel like Mike Trout would be a Hall of Famer if he retired today. That's how Craig Biggio's induction makes me feel.

Hi

Trading your #1 prospect is cheap now?

Granted, both prospects are far away and anything can happen, still not an awful package the Rays received.

Thought they could have gotten more considering the A's can give him a QO.

Gattis to the Astros for 3 prospects.

dunno what the total haul is for the Braves so I'll yield to the Braves fans here on whether they like the deal or not.

Nats deal Tyler Clippard for Yunel Escobar. Not really loving that trade. Clippard is a dominant set up man who basically locks games down once we get into the 8th, and Escobar is basically a league average(at best)middle infielder who has a history of being a malcontent if not bonafide cancer.

With that said, I trust Mike Rizzo. Hopefully he can get us another reliever(though doubt we get someone as near as good as Clip has been the last several years)and hopefully the veteran leadership in our clubhouse will keep Escobar in check(plus Escobar is still a worlds better hitter than the black hole known as Danny Espinosa).
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

you are required 10 years of major league service time in order to be considered for a HOF ballot, regardless whatever it is that makes you feel, whichever it is that you enjoy feeling.

so no, Mike Trout has no chance whatsoever if he retired today, at HOF.
