the main points that i made was that Jacoby Ellsbury over the past 5 seasons hasn't been able to healthy in fact starting in 2009 he played 153 games , in 2010 he played 18 games, in 2011 he played 158 games,in 2012 he played 74 games ,in 2013 he played 134 games. if this trend continues he's do for an injury filled year. secondly in 2016 the yankees will 4 players over the age of 32 earning 20mm per year in CC, Mark, Alex, Jacoby . three of those 4 are already past their prime

Ellsbury is young, yet his best baseball is behind him. That 1 season.

Maybe not this year or the next couple of following seasons if he stays healthy, but that is a lot of money for a looooooong time.
