0-12 with RISP

Very winnable game, kudos to Royals. The better team won.

I'm really nervous. This is the Mets chance. I don't think they will be better next year or the next 2 after that. Hopefully they go all out and play unafraid like they have been.

sucks blue jays mortgaged their future and didnt even get a world series appearance out of it, they might not get back for another 22 years.

just when toronto fans get little confident, get little swagger, their teams seem to let em down. raptors teased them last year as well, hovering top of the eastern conference few months before crashing in playoffs.

Na .We good. Entire lineup is coming back next year, Stroman, Osuna, Sanchez are all under 24. We gave up 2 pitching prospects, big whoop. We'll have another crack at it next year. Who in the AL East is better right now?

They still will have arguably the best lineup in baseball and even though they'll likely lose Price, they have Buehrle's contract coming off the books and will have plenty of money to sign another starter or two to replace him. They're not a shoe in by any means but they still have a good team.

tsk tsk canada sure cant take a L gracefully. friends it aint my fault your sports franchises have been the bastion of incompetence, go take out your anger on the gm that traded one of the best young pitchers in the world for a 38 year old knuckleballer.

WTF are you talking about? I gave props to the Royals. You're the one that started with the nonsense that we are all of a sudden the worst team in the AL East

Not having Cecil and Loup for this series really hurt us against KC's lineup (they were the only reliable lefties in our bullpen). Cecil wasn't just a lefty though, he was our best reliever overall this year.

KC deserved to win with the way we played, but I think the result could have very likely been different with those two guys in the lineup.

Was looking up Cuban FAs and bumped into this...

Mikeleelop (blue jays way): With the depleted farm system after the trade deadline, who can fans look forward to in Toronto? Guerrero, Greene...
Ben Badler: Even with all the trades, it’s still a solid farm system in Toronto. Pompey is still technically a prospect, Alford is having a breakout year, Rowdy Tellez looks legit, plus you’ve got the 2015 draft picks, Vladdy Jr and some other intriguing guys throughout the system. There’s still a lot to look forward to there.

AA is a terrific drafter. I'm not worried at all about rebuilding the farm system (as long as he's the GM). I am worried about our pitching situation for next season though. I'd hate to have to trade even more prospects for pitching help. The only way we make the playoffs again next year is if ownership decides to increase payroll. We have one of (if not the) richest owners in baseball, yet also one of the cheapest.
