Dak now deserves to be in MVP talks.
For sure and I think he is

Purdy has a better record, massively outperformed Dak in their head-to-head matchup, and has pretty much the same YPG/TD production despite 100 less pass attempts, and has a much higher rating.

He's gotta be the favorite. And looking at the Cowboys tough schedule and the Niners relatively winnable schedule (at least 3-1, but probably 4-0) I think Purdy will quite easily distance himself from Dak by the end of the season.

I still say that CMC hurts Purdy’s chances. He’s the real MVP of that team.

Seattle in Seattle is no joke
True. They played SF and us tough too

They did? Game in Seattle was pretty much over by half time and they couldnt even register a touchdown on offense.

They played Niners tougher in Santa Clara yesterday, although dont think anyone was concerned about the outcome.

They seem to mailing it in, lost 5 of 6, doubt they stand a chance against an Eagles team that needs win.

Record against the same conference is the three team tie-breaker, right? Glad Niners got most of their losses against AFC teams.

First tie breaker is head to head. Second tie breaker is record with in the conference. Niners win both as of today.

Ok that's good news, essentially a game ahead of both Eagles and Cowboys

Moving forward, I wouldn't worry about the Egals too much.

Maybe if they play like this. But they play teams with losing records rest of the way. If Niners drop the Ravens game, it could be a problem.

I'm still not convinced the Cowboys are a 'good' team - especially in the PO's. I think if you get on them early they're completely different like we've seen and become demoralized. I kind of see them as a second round exit type team

Egals are severely wounded. Both physically and mentally. Cowboys beat them up pretty good last night.

Agreed, I dont trust Dak in the playoffs and you want another aspect of your team to take over if your quarterback struggles, Cowboys dont have that.

Pretty much every team in the post season I would classify as "good". And Dallas is definitely a "good" team, and they have been for years now.

We are looking for the next step into "greatness", we've conquered "good" repeatedly.

They had that last night *if* the offense did struggle.

Gilmore completely owned the Eagle WRs and the defense showed up big, Dallas would have won that game with just half of Dak's production.

Egals never scored an offensive T.D.

Playoffs will be much different than "last night, December 11th", especially if Cowboys cant win the division and have to play road games all the way.

All the contenders in NFC can and will run the ball very well, if you cant stop the run and Dak predictably struggles those passing lanes will open up and it will end up another Niners like massacre. Even the worst version of Eagles got 4.6 ypc last night.

Dallas has huge fan showings on the road and the only team that I'm concerned about is SF.

Speaking of SF they lost 3 in a row, they are capable of being picked off early in the post season. Not sure id be real confident as a 9ers fan.
