Tom Lost appeal-4 game suspension upheld

Post#1 » by LAKESHOW » Tue Jul 28, 2015 6:54 pm

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension for his role in using underinflated footballs during the AFC Championship Game was upheld by commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday.

In making the announcement, Goodell emphasized important new information disclosed by Brady and his representatives in connection with the hearing into what has been widely known as Deflategate.

"Goodell concluded in his decision that Brady was aware of, and took steps to support, the actions of other team employees to deflate game footballs below the levels called for by NFL rules.
Goodell found that Brady's deliberate destruction of potentially relevant evidence went beyond a mere failure to cooperate in the investigation and supported a finding that he had sought to hide evidence of his own participation in the underlying scheme to alter the footballs.
"On or shortly before March 6, the day that Tom Brady met with independent investigator Ted Wells and his colleagues, Brady directed that the cell phone he had used for the prior four months be destroyed. He did so even though he was aware that the investigators had requested access to text messages and other electronic information that had been stored on that phone," the league's statement read. "During the four months that the cell phone was in use, Brady had exchanged nearly 10,000 text messages, none of which can now be retrieved from that device. The destruction of the cell phone was not disclosed until June 18, almost four months after the investigators had first sought electronic information from Brady."

oh danny (tommy) boy, the truth, the truths are calling,
from field to field, and especially at Gillette stadium,
the summers gone, and a new NFL season is starting...
but we still have to talk about this crap for another new season...
So danny (tommy) boy, please admit your crimes!

AT&T, for example, retains information about who you are texting for five to seven years. T-Mobile keeps the same data for five years, Sprint keeps it for 18 months, and Verizon retains it for one year. Verizon is the only one of the top four carriers that retains text message content, however, and it keeps that for three to five days.
Call detail records, meanwhile, are retained for one year by Verizon, five years for T-Mobile (two years for pre-paid), five to seven years for AT&T, and 18 to 24 months for Sprint.

There it is Patriot fans. The end. Finality. The conclusion. The end result. The final solution. The completion.

Tom Brady is a cheat. He lied. He is officially suspended. There is no arguing the results, this process has been totally investigated. And he is GUILTY. The Owner Bob Kraft has signed off on this decision. Coach Bellichek has agreed with Roger Goodells ruling. It is now time for the rest of New England to accept this Guilty Charge as well.

Goodell and his cronies are truly pathetic. They themselves said all they wanted was electronic records of Brady's texts which he provided not ONLY that BUT, a spreadsheet with all of the people he texted AND their contact information. This court case is going to be like the lawyer off in Alway's Sunny where the lawyer is Kessler and Goodell is Charlie Kelly. Get your popcorn ready! Can't wait for all you guys to admit you were wrong when the court overturns this. I'll be waiting I'm cooking up a mean crow stew.

I'm not saying that Brady is innocent or guilty, but this wasn't an honest inquiry. Everyone is caught up on the destruction of evidence thing, but the fact of the matter is text messages can easily be retreived from the phone service under subpoena. The NFL didn't conduct a full investigation despite Brady cooperation (providing a spreadsheet of all contacts), and instead made a bigger spectacle out of this. This is far from over.

The NFL isn't the NSA or this isn't a pressing criminal investigation...the providers aren't going to provide **** unless Tom wants them to

I dare you guys to explain how this makes sense. Why did we go against Walt Anderson's best recollection of what happened but, at the same time we take his recollection of what the PSIs were as absolute fact. I'll be waiting. Anybody? Anybody want to take a crack at it or are you guys going to ignore this plot hole? Probably not, LAKESHOW and bluewhatever el turco will most likely ignore this yet again.

It will NEVER go to court. Some of you guys crack me up. I bet the reason why Brady boy destroyed his cell phone was to protect Belliicheat. If there is any evidence that bellicheat played any part in any of this, well he faces at least a one year suspension or possible banishment after the spy gate incident.
