2015-16 Predictions

Post#1 » by Mamba Mentality » Fri Jul 31, 2015 6:34 pm

It's that time of year again...

Be as thorough as possible to avoid any sort of confusion. If someone wants to keep tallies of who gets the most predictions right we can make this into a competition.

AFC East: Patriots
AFC North: Steelers
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: Broncos
Wild Card: Dolphins and Bengals

NFC East: Eagles
NFC North: Packers
NFC South: Falcons
NFC West: Seahawks
Wild Card: Cardinals and Cowboys

MVP: Andrew Luck
OPOY: Adrian Peterson
DPOY: JJ Watt
OROY: Jameis Winston
DROY: Leonard Willliams
COY: Chuck Pagano

AFC Championship: Colts defeat Broncos
NFC Championship: Packers defeat Seahawks
Super Bowl XLVIII: Colts defeat Packers

Best Record: Indianapolis Colts
Worst Record: Titans, 49ers
First Coach to be Fired: Ken Whisenhunt

Bold Prediction(s): Adrian Peterson will top 2000 scrimmage yards and score 12+ tds. He'll barely edge out Ben Roethlisberger for offensive player of the year.

Patriots-but not without narrowly escaping the Dolphins
Ravens-I'm a homer and except for RB or WR, we are as good or better than the Steelers everywhere else.
Colts-No brainer
San Diego-Peyton Manning going off the cliff and losing Ryan Clady is going to make it tough for Denver.
WCs-Steelers and Dolphins ...both teams are division winner worthy

Cowboys-Maybe a threat from Philly, but they should win it.
Packers-Should be easy
Panthers-New Orleans might rebound with a slightly different team personality
Seattle-This division will be tough even though I think SF plummets.
WCs-Arizona and St. Louis ...I liked Arizona last year and needed to pick a surprise playoff team so, the Rams.

MVP-Luck
OPOY-Probably that **** Antonio Brown or his rapist QB
DPOY-Watt
OROY-Winston...(more rapin')
DROY-Williams-He's set up nicely, especially now that Richardson is in hot water.
COY-Joe Philbin-This is kind of hedging my bets in case the Dolphins are able to take the East away from the Pats.

Baltimore beats Miami
Arizona upsets Green Bay
Ravens over Cardinals because, why the hell not?

Best Record-Dallas and Indy should both snag about 12 wins
Worst-Tennessee with SF and Washington nipping at their heals.
First Fired-Jay Gruden

Bold Prediction: I picked Arizona and a still retooling Ravens to go to the Super Bowl.

If, the Hawks have the best record (as you say) & home field advantage, you can punch their ticket in the NFC

You've got me thinking I might be selling the Vikings a bit short this year. I was fishing for an excuse to pick Amari Cooper as OROY, but Winston is set up too nicely to put up maybe 3500 yards passing with those WRs as long as his jersey stays relatively clean.

You have the Raiders winning the AFC West!? :rofl2:

The Rams defense is legit, but Nick Foles is their QB.

Lets see. Last year, I had the Seahawks vs. Bengals. Detroit was my darkhorse, because of Reggie Bush. The referees stripped reggie of his opportunity! DAAAYYUUUMM YOU!!!

Anyhow, THIS YEAR? Everybody and their mama is pickin the Indianpolis colts.

That's why Im goin with the Atlanta Falcons vs. NEW YORK!

You gotta figure they're due to lose a home playoff game at some point. They should have lost to GB last year, and remember Dallas beat them in Seattle in the regular season last year(I know playoffs are different, but Dallas is built to beat them as much as I hate to say that).

The Niners are going to blow chunks. New coach, depleted defense, and everyone in the division--with the exception of the Niners--got better. They'll be lucky to finish .500.

I have been let down a plenty by the bengals, I selected them to break through last year, and I thought they were done, after failing in the playoffs again. But after watching USCs rey maualuga play this year. And after some phone calls. Im going to give them 1 final opportunity.
