Will the Houston Texans Get the #1 Pick Again?

Post#1 » by orlandomanic » Mon Sep 21, 2015 5:02 am

Houston so far has looked like the worst team in the NFL in just two games, with no legit #1 NFL QB and no defense. Will the Houston Texans Get the #1 Pick Again?

Their schedule will relax starting next week, so they'll win enough games to not be picking first and end up drafting twitter superstar and the next Vince Young out of OSU.

The Bears are worse. Way worse. Texans will win some games. Bears might go 0-16.

Texans have also been without their best offensive player, the engine that makes their run game go. The committee of Blue, Polk, and Grimes just isn't good.

The Bears aren't nearly that bad.

Houston is still the 2nd best team in the AFC South. The least talented team is the Bears. The team playing the worst so far has been Baltimore, but I don't expect that to keep going for long.

it's what those dumbasses deserve for not trading up for bridgewater in the late 1st or taking carr in the 2nd round in 2014

I always wondered why they didn't pick up Carr. This dude was off the charts on the west coast at fresno state. Now at the Raiders. If you don't get the QB position right, you are doomed to draft high once again every year.

I don't think the Houston is the worst team, but i do think they will probably end up with a top 3 pick because their QB situation is so bad and their defense is inept.

I have a feeling that the Eagles will end up with the top pick in next years draft. When i watched the Eagles in the last game, it just looks like all the Philly players already gave up on Chip and Bradford and when the whole team looks that dismayed from their head coach and on the field leader then to me it feels like the whole year has already been lost.

Giants also might end up with a top 3 pick. The Giants pass rush looks like the worst in the NFL.

I don't think the Bears is as bad as everybody is saying on this thread. Allen, Cutler, and Forte look ok, i think they can pull out 4-5 wins.

houston defense is fine, their defensive dvoa is middle of the pack and should only improve with the talent they have. with foster coming, i dont see them picking top 5 with that piss poor schedule let alone the top pick.

Houston is one of those teams that would benefit from tanking and getting a QB. They're just gonna be stuck on this treadmill forever if they don't find the QB solution

that would make sense if there was a cant miss qb next year's draft. they should be able to select cardale, cook, hackenberg tier qb even if they pick in teens.

As long as the departure of Rick Smith as GM is included in having a bad enough season to land a top 5 pick, I will allow it.

I'd prefer to see them go undefeated the rest of the way to a championship, but either scenario sounds good to me.

Houston would be lucky if they went 0-16 and get another high pick, but Houston will end up being 7-9 and get a mid round pick and end up being a treadmill team for the next 10 years unless they some how get lucky and get an Aaron Rodgers type of player in the late first round or second round.

Houston is just the worst team in the league. Their defense just looks so pathetic like an un-ranked college team.

I think they were scared of drafting QB's with the last name "Carr". Based on past experiences.

Any team would be terrified of spending basically a first round pick on the brother of the most famous bust in their franchise's history.
