He's terrible. Eagles fans will hate that signing.

Here is a pretty good breakdown of Devin White’s potential impact (pros and cons).

0 risk high reward I’m ok with it as a move. As long as it’s not the only move

That only saves the Cowboys 2.9 mill in cap space.

They need a center, left tackle, running back, cornerback, wide receiver, defensive end, interior defensive lineman, and another linebacker….and Jerry is doing absolutely nothing

Its hard to tackle all those needs when you have an overpaid QB like Prescott taking up 59.7 mill in cap space this year when its proven beyond a reasonable doubt the past 8 years, that he is only capable of beating cup cake teams regardless of the weapons you put around.

True but the Cowboys never spend money in free agency unless it’s to keep their own players. They never pay players from other teams. At least they haven’t since they paid Brandon Carr in 2012.

And before that I can only remember 2 others. D. Sanders and Charles Haley. But Haley may have been a trade.

They also signed Le’Roi Glover who played pretty well here for a while. The Brandon Carr signing though seems to have really turned them off when it comes to signing other teams free agents.

Oh and yea, Charles Haley was acquired by trade. San Fran thought he would be a huge disruption to the Cowboys locker room so they agreed to trade him to Dallas. Unfortunately for the Niners and the rest of the NFL Haley ended up being the final piece that put them over the top and lead to a dynasty.

I mean, trades should count in this discussion, the team is giving up one of their own for another team's player and contract. Amari is notable and was a great trade.

Seems like Dallas tends to trade away picks over players. Still a chance of that this season too.

Gilmore another one.

Dallas dead last. Explains why they've been so frugal.

It looks like some of those numbers haven't been updated with recent signings.

The Cowboys have been frugal in feee agency for over 10 years now. Even when they’ve had money they don’t spend it on free agency unless they are resigning their own players.

You don't want Devin White starting for you. As you can see his scores against the run are bottom of the league. In coverage, he's not much better.

What is there to remember. He was garbage for us and I was not in favor of him coming to Dallas at the time. Been trying to forget a lot of things the past 3 decades actually.
