Man whoever came up with these MNF and TNF match ups needs to be fired immediately. I understand that they can't know which teams will be good and bad prior to the year but educated guesses should get you to do better. Quite frankly I think I could've done picking match ups for prime time games.

NFL also needs to allow for them to flex games out and change it around like they allow for SNF.

Other than the Chargers/Broncos, I don't think there's been one good TNF game this season. And I don't just say that because I'm a Chargers fan, that was probably the closest game on TNF this season.

Can't wait to see what ugly ass uniforms they run out there tomorrow night. At least the Bucs won't be wearing the Creamsickles.

Right?

And - no way you can flex out of those games. It's one thing to have fans change their arrival times from Noon to 3. Completely different thing to change them from Sunday to Thursday.

WEEK 16 Dec. 22 NY Giants @ Philadelphia

So only two games featuring teams that will both make playoffs (DAL vs Minny & Oakland vs KC).

NO @ Seattle and NYG vs Philly could be interesting though.

NBC will be more than happy to lift those two games from NFLN.

Actually if you look at the rest of the MNF and TNF games through November (actually through Dec 1st) there are some really good matchups.

Bills vs Seahawks
Bengals vs Giants
Saints vs Panthers
Texans vs Raiders
Vikings vs Lions
Redskins vs Cowboys
Steelers vs Colts
Packers vs Eagles
Cowboys vs Vikings

The only real bad one is next Thursday with the Browns vs Ravens

I don't think Bucs and Falcons is that bad, especially being in Tampa.

Not as bad as some may think. it's not the beloved storied teams, but a division lead is still in play.

TB is in all red, and Atl will have on it's regular white one white but with white socks and shoes.

I only see two possibly decent match ups left. And that might be pushing it. Its really hard for road teams to recover and get ready for the next game with only 3 days, one of which is travel time. Thursday night games need to go. and that is coming from a year round die hard football junkie.

Those are all good mathups. Most teams that are not worse than 3-5 still have somewhat of a chance at a WC, and any team 4-4 does. Most, if not all of these are fairly matched unless Ben was playing against the Colts.

I get your point with MNF games, but TNF has its hands tied in this situation -- iirc every team gets at least one primetime game throughout the course of the season, TNF is the one which showcases those terrible teams like the Jaguars and Browns.

You think the Falcons can easily take care of the Bucs tonight?

Good call,...

Falcons are blowing it by not getting TDs off turnovers.

That was actually a joke. I have no idea who that guy even is. Never heard of him until I looked at the box score.
