Quinn is the classic case of right place, right time. He took over a stacked Seahawk Defense in 2012/13 (Defensive Coordinator), that had Pro Bowlers at almost every position. He then got hired by Atlanta after two Super Bowl appearances. The guy was relatively unknown before coming to Seattle.

It's the same thing with all of the assistants in New England. They have success, get promoted & then struggle after leaving. Rinse, repeat. I know they reached the SB that one year, but that team was also stacked across the board.
