I know a lot of people are sick of him or never liked him to begin with, which I get...but it's gonna be super weird not seeing him out there anymore.

Hell of a career.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I didn’t like him because his smile came of as a fake
Act, plus all the cheating scandals in NE. After he left NE he really became likable though as we saw another side of him. I’m a nobody so I learned to appreciate his greatness as no one will ever catch him in his greatness

Let the argument over the second best player in the history of the league commence. Because there is absolutely no argument over #1 anymore.

Farewell to one of the greatest sporting athletes of all time. I like that he went out at such a high level, it would have been a fun WTF if he had won MVP at 44 in his last season. His last game almost recreating the Falcons comeback and everyone KNOWING he was going to come back was a good ending too.

Him having so much gas left after the Falcons Superbowl (5 years, 2 Superbowl wins/1 loss and at a high level the whole time) is one of the craziest feats of all time. He was 39 - He really could have just retired after that comeback.

It's a sad, sad day for the NFL but we should also be grateful we got to watch him for so long. The ultimate team leader. It's been a pleasure watching him for so long. I'm honestly tempted to name my next dog Brady in honor of him

There are a bunch of reports that say he's called the Bucs and Arians and said he's not even close to making up his mind yet, but then there is this:

Kinda hope comes back for another year if only to expose Rapoport & Schefter as the hacks they are.

Seems odd that he would:
A) retire about 6 days after the season. Unless they already know it's the end (Big Ben) they tend to go on vacation, let the body heal, clear the head....and then make a decision based on the future.
B) retire two weeks after coming out with his Brady Brand that extols the "win forever" mentality thing.

But who knows? Either way, it was an incredible career. There's something to be said about being able to "walk" away from football. Especially after 20+ years.

So whose the favorite in the division now? Falcons? They could probably get in playing .500 football next season.

I’m not a Tom fanboy , but it’s a disgrace he wasn’t able to announce it . It was his moment and was taken away from him

well congrats to him, had a great career, probably the best ever. its too bad that i didn't appreciate him enough while he was playing but by the time he really started to ascend into the all-time great stratosphere i was tired of the patriots juggernaut machine

Hes tied with Joe Montana in my opinion. And NOT because of Championships. All/Many offensive systems are a derivative of the West Coast offense. It employed the Mastery of the Short passing game. Who Mastered the Short passing game? Tom Brady. Who first deployed and initiated it? Montana.

I wanna see someone win that division either 7-10 or 6-11.

Jimmy G on the Bucs can probably win 10 games
