Is Dak Prescott A Super Bowl caliber QB?

Is Dak Prescott just another extension of Tony Romo when it comes to big games, big moments, playing elite teams along with playoff and Super Bowl success?

Dallas might make the Super Bowl, but it won't be because of Prescott.

Dak led superbowl win would probably be more like the Rams where Stafford was good but they had some superstars at other positions like Kupp and Donald

As the best player I could see a route where he wins MVP in outlier season like Ryan and Newton and the Cowboys run makes it to Superbowl appearance. But then he goes back to good but second tier self the next season.

Is Nick Foles a SB caliber QB? Trent Dilfer? Brad Johnson? Peyton Manning in Denver was the lowest rated QB in the entire NFL.

Teams win SBs not QBs, and although Mahomes makes it easy to step out of that reality the Chiefs had 7 ProBowlers last year, they were a solid team. And Mahomes is a bit of an outliar, he could end up being the GOAT.

If the definition of "super bowl caliber" being that a team can win a ring with him at QB then absolutely yes. After Peyton in Denver it should be apparent that almost any QB can get a ring on the right team.

If your definition is being able to single handedly win a ring all by himself then no, and almost no QB can do that. Mahomes is the closest you'll get.

Prime Rodgers has 1 single ring. These guys need linemen to block for them, receivers to catch their throws, defenses to keep the score low, coaches to orchestrate it all, ect.

No need to be negative towards Prescott in here or in the Cowboy forum like I have been the past three years. The media and sports pundits have been piling on Dak the past two weeks. All this pressure on top of what he has already put on himself I believe is going to make him play scared to start out the season. Cowboys and Dak better get off to a good start or this thing could implode despite all this talent and loaded defense.
