There were skeptics about Bryce. Nobody was claiming some other prospect was necessarily better but his size should have raised all kinds of flags as well as the general track record of Alabama QBs in the NFL.

What track record? They turn out more highly regarded players in the NFL over other colleges along with recent stud QB like Hurts and Tua since you're probably too young to know who 'The Snake" and "Broadway Joe" was. Bryce will be another successful pro cause his intangibles are thru the roof, imho. If the Panthers never traded their only playmaker in DJ, they wouldn't have ended up struggling on offense as much as they did. However, DJ did help Fields turn his game around more than any other player cause of his breakaway speed.
