Interesting! Micheal Penix to the Cowboys at 24. I’m not sure Penix gets out of the top 10 though. Rumors are he could now go in the top 10.

If Washington offered their 34 and 40th pick for our 24th pick, would you do it?

I don’t know that I would want to completely drop out of the 1st round. I would consider it though depending on who’s still on the board.

Or perhaps the Chargers? I see the Chargers and Patriots both trading down in this draft.

I think we can get him in round 3. I really like Fraiser. I'm seeing a few drafts having us taking this kid out of Michigan with our first pick, Junior Colson. Not sure about that one.

Junior Colson is the exact kind of LB Dallas is looking for. He’s big and fast and can cover. He’s also a very solid tackler. The only problem with him his he played at Michigan. Some Cowboys fans are gun shy about drafting another Michigan player high in the draft. He’d actually be a perfect fit though.

Both patriots & chargers are screwing around should’ve been traded their picks to minny for the 11 & 23 picks in this draft because if the giants or cardinals trade back they are screwed

These damn news headlines with Raiders drafting Penix at 13 better be dead wrong at #13 that would be a terrible reach!
And that's a consensus/majority! I want that OL/tackle dood at that pick.

Troy Fautanu OT this guy. Strengthen the OL make it an easier job for the QBs & the RBs imo.

That would be a great pick. My Hawks also want him. But some team like the Raiders will scoop him up for sure.

I think the Raiders will trade their pick+ to the Cowboys for Dak Prescott. Blockbuster trade on draft night. :D :wizard:

Cowboys fans: Dak ain't ****.

Also Cowboys fans: Give us your First Round pick for Dak!

You just don’t understand our plight. Dak is a very good regular season QB. He’s not a winner though. Cowboys fans know this through and through (well most of do) which is why most of us want to move on from Dak. That doesn’t mean he’s not a good QB though. He made 2nd team All Pro and puts up outstanding regular season numbers.

There was another QB this off season that is almost 10 years older than Dak and puts up similar numbers and got seriously paid. So if the value for Kirk Cousins is that high and he’s past his prime what would a 28 year old version of Kirk Cousins command in a trade? At least two 1sts if you ask the experts.

We will see but it's one thing to pay Dak $60 million a year next year.

It's another to give up a lot of draft assets to acquire him instead of waiting a year.

I've been the only Cowboy fan in here and in the Cowboy forum that wanted to get rid of Dak 3 years ago. Dak is not worth 60 mill a year, no way. But there are a few dumb organizations out there that might be willing to take Dak off our hands so that we might get a little something for him before he walks away or is let go. I just want him out of Dallas. I'll take whatever we can get for him at this point. Wish it came as a package deal with McCarthy.

Dak is 30. He'll turn 31 this Summer. His value now is likely at its peak.

Denver gave up two 1st's & two 2nd's for Russ. You'd probably get a similar type of return for Dak if you dealt him this offseason.

That trade will make teams gun shy about making a similar trade.

True, no teams wants to give up assets. Any team trading for Dak though would be doing it to have first negotiating rights with his agent. They can actually start talking about an extension with him without it being tampering.

My bad, his 30 not 28. But you’re right, he is at the peak of his value right now. That’s why it would be a good idea to move him this off season (if he’s willing to waive the NTC).
