He was benched at the end of the year. Low character.
Plenty of talent though.

Devin White got $7m from the Eagles? That might be the worst signing this offseason. White isn't good. PFF has consistently graded him as one of the worst LB's. I'm shocked he got that much money.

Atlanta has such a young team with some nice weapons. Wouldn't it have been better to draft a QB instead of taking Cousins for all that money?

Yeah, probably. I'm not a JJ McCarthy fan. But it would have made sense to try to trade up for one.

That no trade clause is a current killer. We could have gotten Dak off our books by now and got something in return. Now we let him play out his contract and let him walk. The Jones boys ruining and running the Cowboy's and the front office to the ground. How bout them cowboys !!

For some teams it's actually an improvement to win 12 games and lose in the playoffs.

I legitimately don't know what team would even trade for him at this point

It seems like everyone who needs a backup is all set, and everyone who needs a starter or a high potential young QB has the draft positioning to do so, plus this is supposed to be a pretty strong year for rookie QBs

Then he only has a year left on his deal before you gotta tag him or re-sign him

Also, god damn does the 2021 draft look like sh*t for QBs. Trevor's the only viable option among them, and he's still kind of disappointing compared to the hype.

Fields is an expensive backup at this point. As you pointed out.

I'd rather have Sam Howell over all those guys that we're listed. At least he played well at times as a starter on a terrible team. There's some upside with him. Pickett doesn't have the arm to be anything more than a backup. I've also never been a huge fan of Ridder.
