This has been coming for about 2 years now. He’s been hinting at it for a while, pretty much ever since he got his ring.

So how is that going to work? Geno still the Starter? Or will he be the back up or are you guys eventually going to give him his walking papers?

Geno is under contract for two years. But the team can cut him next offseason. He had a better year than people realized.

Geno is the starter. Howell is the backup for now.

The idea is to sit Howell this year. Have him learn the offense. Then maybe he becomes the starter.

The Greatest edge rusher in the 21st century retired. No other will top him until the next century...he was that impactful on the field with a motor that just didn't quit until he put those laces up on the shelves for good. Cheers!

Cue the Maiden track, aaaand go!:

Aaron Donald the Great
His name struck fear into hearts of men
Aaron Donald the Great
Became a legend amongst mortal men
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Wasn’t really an edge rusher.
But he was great.
