Interesting that the Cavs are about to be rebuilt again and they will still recover faster than the Pistons.

The game isn't even over yet and again he's just taking it right to the 4x DPOY like he's not even there. 40 pts, 13 assists, 7 rebounds and he's a ridiculous 15-21. He just drained a cold blooded 3 with time expiring and Gobert challenging the shot and he made it look easy.

Jokic's last 4 year run might be the highest peak we've ever seen. One can argue Jordan from '90-'93 or Shaq from '00-'03 or (insert any other 4 year peak) but Jokic is right up there among the best of all time.

"Rebuilt" while still having a top 30 player on their roster in Mitchell?

Seems more like a re-tool. Either they're re-signing Mitchell and Garland is traded for pieces to complement their current roster, or Mitchell doesn't agree to an extension and he gets traded for pieces. They'll still be shooting for the playoffs.

Can anyone else remember an instance where a playoff game like the Timberwolves vs Nuggets could factor so heavily in the future of another franchise?

If Minnesota comes back and beats Denver then they have a realistic chance of also beating Dallas and making it to the finals. The finals end a week or so prior to the nba draft; making it a lot less likely that the Pistons would wait that long before hiring their HOBO.

So if you are a Tim Connely fan and think there's any possibility at all he comes here then you should be wildly rooting for Denver tonight. :D

Crazy stuff! Go Nuggets!!!!! :hoop:

Yeah. I don’t even think we’re getting Connelly.

I just want this process moving.

Oh I'm rooting for them. Making a Nuggets brisket, and my Gores voodoo doll.

I'm making it based off of the temple of doom, so I don't know how viable it'll be, but its worth a shot.

Because they would be starting with a roster full of very valuable players?

Cavs have a few huge decisions coming up. Mobley will want a MAX deal this summer but will the Cavs pay him? One of Mitchell or Garland likely gone this summer or at the trade deadline.... Do Mobley and Allen fit together well enough? They could really use a good defensive two way wing (like Jimmy Butler or Mikal Bridges)... can they find someone to fill that role?

It doesn't compare cause there's no attachment involved.

I was thinking about that the other night.

Yeah, it’s crazy to me, Denver favored -195 after that blowout. The nyk and Indy series been weird also, the favorite team has won every game, just weird. I’d think one of the favorites get upset. Doesn’t matter to me anyway it goes, just weird.

Finally a close game.. Wish the TNT Game 7 would start earlier. I can't stand ESPN/ABC and their BS "smart" rewind

Not surprised to see DAL advance. They've been a different team since the trade deadline and OKC needs another year of seasoning.

I'm fairly confident Denver will handle business at home, but it's been a swingy series. Lots of moves & counter moves. Minny has looked dominant in each of their 3 W's. IF Ant pulls this off.... wow.

Both game 7 should be exciting today.
