Obviously our best player right now, you always make Drum a priority over anyone.

Lillard or Kyrie could be on this team & id hold that 5 yr deal for Drummond too.

We will match the offer Moose gets next Summer, no worries.

Anyone could take that team to the ALCS it's championship or bust for the Tigers. I figured the Pistons would need time and I'm definitely not panicking but just stating Dumars won't sit back and let the team fail because he can't.

Fielder was awful for us.

Our bullpen was below average.

Cabrera got injured at the wrong time.

Jackson disappeared until he switched to 8.

I used to be a skipper ripper but one day I realized the Tigers are always good now. Look at the Angels! Yankees? How can we complain?

... but if someone incredible wants to manage the Tigers, we should probably do it. :wink:

The 2013 Tigers had one of the best starting pitcher rotations of all-time. 8-)

To be fair they only started 10 games together. I think that is being overlooked here. Not only are Drummond/Moose/Smith trying to figure out how to play together, but Drummond and Moose are still trying to figure out how to play together. In addition to both being young and inexperienced. Then you give them a new starting backcourt every game on top of it, some of them inexperienced guards as well, and its not too surprising that they are playing like this, to be honest.

It would be different if all 3 frontcourt guys were veterans, they could probably get by with this backcourt chaos and still figure it out, but with Dre/Moose being inexperienced and both Moose/Smith trying to adjust to playing new positions, they REALLY needed stability in the backcourt while they try to figure this out. Unfortunately that's not possible right now with these freak injuries. Good thing is these games don't count.

The team has been playing with a lot more intensity since Mo called a timeout in the 3rd. That's all you can ask from a coach in the pre-season. He's got the respect of his players.

Monroe and Drummond were great together. If someone gets traded it should be Smith after Dec 15th.

Can't lose sight of the fact that hes still just a 2nd year player ahead of the curve. Most raw centers take years to even show signs so he's doing great.
