And he's brought that with him into the preseason. You just love people like that. You love people that aren't afraid of the moment. You love people that find an opportunity and try to seize the opportunity. I think he's done a great job of that. There's been people that I know around the league, other coaches and stuff that I've noticed as well just how good of a player he is.”

I’m more comfortable with Jenkins at PG than I am with Sasser at PG.

Me too. Jenkins has his own issues with breaking down defenses -- he's not the most athletic guy either -- and I don't consider him an NBA-caliber player but Sasser is quite a bit worse at it.

It's still pretty darned irritating to me that Weaver decided to go mad scientist in his particular way and blow a first-round pick on a guy who's of a diminutive NBA height that requires a player to have solid on-ball ability and did so despite the fact that the player in question was a near 23-year-old who had struggled mightily as an on-ball creator as a college senior against NCAA defenses and so was extremely unlikely to ever succeed at it at the NBA level. Yeah, it was late in the first round, but general draft outcomes from picks 25-30 are not bad at all.

Most definitely.. Sasser is a 2, who could play with Cade and/or Levert, which they finally did last year (only because of injuries). Sasser can guard the 1's, Cade can guard the 2's, and Sass can play the 2 on offense. Fine shooter, plays hard, probably will never get many minutes.

I liked Jenkins since I saw him in the SL.. Does a lot more good things than bad things. A floor general with poise who can score and set guys up, plays hard on defense, plays hard period. I think he's going to surprise the casual fan.

Sasser's height is going to severely detract from his value no matter what position he plays and no matter alongside whom he's playing. It's not for no reason that undersized shooting specialists are almost extinct in today's league.
