this could potentially be bogus, but Pistonspowered just tweeted out a possible new grey alternate jersey for next season

We should just embrace the Mauve/deep dark red and royal blue and silver transition. Homage to the roots, redesigned for this millennium tho.

Im cool with the grey and blue...nice change of pace.

I LOVE the motor city blue. That needs to be the primary blue on the road in the future.

Im holding off on buying jerseys cause I feel an identity change is coming soon, once Nike is back.

Ugh. Greys aren't used for a reason -- they aren't home whites but they don't contrast well as road unis, and wearing them makes the team look like a bunch of scrubs playing pickup ball.

They are basically the Magic's grey uniform minus the sleeves, no thanks.

We're Blue, Red & White lets not mess with that. Only thing I'd consider is a bad boys throwback, which I believe was mentioned In the Reggie Jackson thread the other day.

Just seems off. Before designing a Grey jersey, they should have rather designed other color jersies first; a Red or Black jersey would have been my preferences.

But I agree, we need to get rid of this stupid font.

And I find it frustrating with how many red/white/blue teams there are currently in the NBA. The Hawks need to switch back to red/yellow

The font is HORRID. Maybe we should try and start a petition or something, or a twitter hashtag or something to get the Pistons to notice.

Pic is fuzzy as hell, but I actually like the grey - it fits the city imo. Lot of grey in Detroit buildings, feels a little grimy, dirty, like a formally white shirt after a day in the foundry.

We really need completely new jerseys. Go back to the horse logo and to reiterate what was said above, the font has to go. It might be the worst font of any team.

Gray? Yikes. Not a huge fan of the Motor City uniforms but at least navy is technically part of the Pistons' color scheme. Was hoping these would simply be a revival of the red uniforms from about 10 years ago, still don't know why those were ever discontinued.

I wouldn't mind a complete uniform overhaul - complete new font, even drop the red, white and blue even though we've had it forever. Midnight blue main, Piston blue and gray for roads and midnight blue, Piston blue and creme main for the homes.

sign me up. i like how creme has been used but a grey wouldnt bother me because i think creme will be played out too soon. whatever is done, the team does need a new look from the ground up.
