we have a chance only if Morris bullies Bazemore with his size and Dre wakes up

the other matchups look fair, except for Millsap's edge over Ilyasova

This is the first game in quite some time where I'm going into it feeling pretty confidant that we are going to lose. Not sure why, I guess just being a back to back on the road with travel against a decent team after pulling out a few super close games... Just feels like a loss and I don't think I've felt that way since the GS game over a month ago. I hope I'm wrong because a W tonight would do wonders for us jumping up in the standings to 2nd/3rd in the East.

We need Dre to come alive in this one. Back to back though so if Atlantas shooters are feeling it tonight we're probably cooked.

I hope we can start out strong in this one.. we can't rely on a barrage of 3 pointers to save us this time.

Outside of Philly it seems like every game we play is another tough one. It'd be really nice to knock off another one of the teams wer're trailing in the standings. Double swing for us.

If we win tonight, we jump Miami (who is not playing) and the Hawks, with the Pacers needing a win to stay ahead of us. If the Pacers lose tonight, we could end the night tied for 2nd in the East.

It's been a while since we've been in late December discussing "big games" and meaningful playoff standing about the Pistons. I like it!

My biggest fear is Milsap going off on Ilyasova. Milsap is surprisingly averaging 18/9... which is good for best on their team in both points and rebounds I believe. I don't hate Ilyasova or anything but man is it frustrating having to worry about opposing PF's going off on a nightly basis. It reminds me of when Monroe was here. Hopefully Ilyasova can at least hold his own and cancel out some of Milsap's production by knocking down shots on the other end. My prediction is that Tolliver finishes yet another game, mainly for defensive purposes.

I like Dre waking up against a smaller front court tonight and Marcus has to abuse Bazemore. I trust KCP with Korver.

Second of a back to back with plane problems last night kind of sucks but go Stones.

Going to Morris early. I like it. If his jumper is on he should have a big game against Bazemore.
