Who's the Pistons' Charles Oakley?
Which player from our history is our Charles Oakley? Beloved, soul of the franchise guy?

Ben Wallace, maybe.
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

We could use a vet of that mold right about now to shake the f--k out of our team and wake them up.

Re: Who's the Pistons' Charles Oakley?
I think there are two separate questions here. Charles Oakley was an enforcer and a bodyguard. He was also a fairly good player. Soul of the franchise? That's being a bit overblown with this recent drama.
Our Charles Oakley, unquestionably, was Rick Mahorn. They served the same role, played the same way (Rick had better touch offensively), and were each others nemesis - fighting each other constantly. Mahorn was the only player in the league who went looking for a fight with Oakley, and vice-versa. They were the same guy. And while "soul of the franchise" is a bit of an overstatement, Rick was a significant foundation of the "bad boys." When he left in the expansion draft, the team lost that aura.

So which Piston legend is most likely to get in an altercation with Gores/security and be banished from the Palace/LCA?

I want to say Ben. The guy was undrafted and had all the heart to be a shining defensive star in a league filled with defensive giants at the time. Going up against arguably the most dominant in Shaq and never backing down despite being a generous 6'8.

When you phrase it like this i kinda wanna say Rip lol. What a douche.
Ricky & Lamb are the obvious tough guys, but i don't see either one getting into an altercation and getting themselves banned. We don't really have *that* guy.

Mahorn was the baddest amongst the bad boys.

We don't have an addict owner who's ruining our franchise during years and only take cares about the money and don't give a f* about to win.

Yeah I don't think we have anyone like that. Rip seems like he's obviously on good terms with Gores since they're retiring his jersey. Now if Karen Davidson still owned the team... Rip would probably be the closest thing

To be honest I wasn't even born to watch these guys play but for thing I heard, watched, and read I would say Mahorn. Laimbeer seemed like he tried to manipulate guys and bait them. Mahorn seems more like a guy who would square up and throw hands when ever.

Rick Mahorn. Rick fought the entire Bulls team dragging Oakley and Doug Collins up the court by himself. Charles Oakley, a dude who takes the fight off the court too, never approached Rick like he did others. In fact Rick is not our Charles Oakley, Oakley was the Rick Mahorn of the Bulls and the Knicks.

If that criteria is being mentally unhinged and having that sort of altercation and banishment, I'd go with no one.
Rip & Prince had an alternate facts way of seeing things. Maybe...just maybe they would take some sort of weird offense at something and make a scene. Certainly nothing like the circus they have in New York.
