I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of Cades game at all. His main go to move is a midrange jumper and has no layup package...do we really have to max this guy out?

This is the worst but Cade simply hasn’t been very good since he’s come back from his most recent injury.

That’s broadly been true.

Yeah, Cades game is hot and cold.

He seems to be way more streaky than other teams first or second options.

I still have faith in Cade. What we saw against Boston when he tried to end the streak was a budding super star

I agree. He has all the potential in the world but his lack of athleticism really hurts his finishing at the rim.

How many games out of 10 should we see Boston game Cade?

At this point in his career, he’s too up and down for me.

Hopefully he can show some level of consistency and durability for a full season next year.

This is essentially his second year. I expect consistency next year.

Not sure if the recent improvement of 4-4 last 8 games before they got to LA is indicative of what's to come, or how the new players will fit, but ya'll are really overreacting to the last game of a west coast roadtrip. I've seen really good Piston's team look just as bad, good time in LA or not.

Exactly the guy is talented but I think he's a 3rd option type as he just can't create high percentage offense. The mid range jumper shouldn't be your go to offense.

He's either injured or "recovering" from injury, pretty much his entire career. Still early in his career but at some point you might need to just call a spade a spade. He's never going to fulfill his potential if he's constantly injured or simply not 100%.

Glad someone does. Wolves fans kinda hate him after he had a great preseason and a terrible… everything after.

At this point I’m against extending him candidly.

Not against keeping him outright, but he doesn’t warrant a max extension at this point in time. He hasn’t been good enough.

as a knick fan he reminds kind of like rj barrett in that regard. clearly some talent there but just not consistent enough to be dependable as your number 1 or maybe even 2 option

I agree but even then what is his actual ceiling? D'Angelo Russell type player or ??? I just don't see a explosive offense player and he doesn't play much defense. I just hope I'm wrong.

I hope so too.

If he gets an extension it’s based on the residual shine of his first-pick anointed status. His play doesn’t warrant it full stop.

I was always thinking we should trade Ivey due to the fit with Cade. No reason we cant adjust and trade Cade who has maybe more value. Their will be teams interested if we put him on the market.

Cade had an incredible december, looked like a perennial all star. Since returning he has been pretty much atrocious. We will have to see next season which version of cade shows up/if he trends more towards his break out earlier in the yer or if he's just gonna be an inefficient volume scorer.
