This looks bushleague from stew. It's one thing to respond to a cheap foul or dirty play, but guys talk trash in the NBA. You have to have thicker skin than that.

All joking aside, it can’t be just stew walked up to the guy and drilled him in the face. Gotta be more to this story. Which still doesn’t really excuse it.

Hopefully Stew can say "I'm healthy now!" and technically not miss any games because he's also convalescing.

That's just dumb. That said, I disagree with the idea that he's been playing poorly. He's been a difference maker on defense and the outside shot has been credible. He still has holes in his game, but he's hardly been our worst player. He's just not good enough to overlook stuff like this if it continues to be a pattern.

And in the beginning it was clear Lee was better, more athletic, dominated in the G League, etc. but Hayes was picked #7 and gifted a starting job and big minutes. Literally Hayes being gifted a rotation spot and starting minutes even tho he isn't an NBA level player set this rebuild and franchise back big time... awful for team chemistry.... awful for building accountability. Awful for building a winning culture.

I was at 7-11 today and some guy cut in line when I was paying for my slurpee so I punched him in the face. Just made sense.

LeBron elbowed him in the face on purpose. Stewart should've punched him. This is different. This was dumb.

Honestly, Saben walked so Ivey could run. At least you could understand somewhat of Hayes playing over Lee in the first season but gifting Hayes minutes over Ivey is just not it. There was no accountability top to bottom

I swear Cade and Stewart make some the laziest/dumb fouls that I can recall at times.

Whatever. Punch Monty instead Beef.

Not saying it is… but i have a question

If this ends up being something racially said to beef stew would your opinion of this punch differ?

We need to know the whole context.

Drew played in Portland last year. Maybe something with jerami grant and talking trash?

My theory is there was some banter and Eubanks said one of the words that by many people’s standards is considered fighting words. Stew being Stew then acted. I’m not saying one or the other is right, but that’s my theory. I’m sure we’ll know one day.

A lot of overreactions on the internet so far on this though. Reminds me of when a popular opinion was Killian should be charged with Felony assault when he hit Mo Wagner
