Should we pick him up for the rest of the season? Kick the tires?

I'm surprised Weaver didn't already try and trade for him before he was released.

I mean we just picked up Buddy Boeheim. We're clearly trying to be competitive now. Why do we want to test the waters on a young 7-footer that possibly has range. Especially when he can be had on the cheap. Now if you told me that he would cost 5 2nd round picks I might be somewhat interested...

I hope we are done adding young inept players. Poku can't shoot and is clueless on defense. He is comparable to Killian Hayes offensively and is much worse than him on defense lmao.

I definitely don’t want to add him but what was his claim to fame once upon a time?

Didn’t he have a few big games as a rookie or something?

Absolutely. This team has a bunch of ill-fitting pieces, so not only nab him, but start him at the 4 alongside Duren.

There is no downside to doing so. This season is lost.

Cade
Ivey
Grimes
Poku
Duren

Can't be worse then 8-47.

He had one season where he shot well from 3, and he is a shot-blocking 4.

He's like the Killian Hayes of OKC... a few brief stints of promise but overall his numbers are just trash. At least he was a 7 footer.

Don't care. Season is lost, team is crap, might as well try him out.

I say again, it cannot get worse. There is zero downside. Pick him up, cut Wiseman.

Win/Win.

Or just cut Wiseman and don’t pick Poku up. That’s ok, too.

OKC is a great evaluator of talent and they didn’t think it was worth keeping him.

We’re not going to outsmart them. No sense cleaning up their garbage.

Alex Poofsuckski? Sure, why not. The last name will give Blaha's tongue some exercise.

He seems like an ideal g league experiment player. I don’t see the point in bringing him in though. Seems like Austin daye wuth the ability to block some shots.

I feel like he goes to Charlotte and they just see what happens

The only way I don't mind picking him up is if we drop Wiseman to make room for him and play Muscala in his place. Besides, OKC is good enough that their trash can absolutely be our treasure. Look what Tre Mann is doing in CHA rn

100%

I would also add that OKC is great with player development as well. Them outright cutting him while not needing to open up a roster spot to make a trade or something, says a lot.
