He was playing him tough too so much early game frustrations from Luka due to Ausar. I can't wait for year two Ausar who will already have seen and played against all the stars and have a better game plan on how to slow them down. I feel like he has a real chance to take a big jump rolling into year two.

Next year, is HUGE for this team. There is no more excuses, nowhere to hide.

I expect big things.

Every single game I watch an old saying keeps going through my head on repeat “Square pegs, round holes”. Monty has a vision for how he wants any team to play, and he forces each player to play their respective part in his production, rather than understand what each player is capable of and devising a new play for each player to nail their role and succeed overall.

I still want our young guys to get reps in areas they aren’t a proficient in as that’s the best way to learn but man as much as Cade’s been playing great a heliocentric offence isn’t a great way to get wins in the modern era.

Wiseman continues to impress got it in the post and doubled and made a nice bounce pass to Font cutting to the rim for the lay-in.

Was totally a move you see from Luka, Harden, etc... Pump fake and get the guy off his feet and go up and make sure there is contact. 100% his game was lacking FTs and the better he gets at getting to the line the higher his TS% can go. Moves you from fringe all-star to legit perennial all-star when you can get to the line 10 times a night and make 8.

Yeah like winning 29 games would be a big let down for me but would still be a large jump in games won. I feel like we need to be mid 30s at worst and contending for a play-in into April if not making the play-in.

Sass has been rough since he came back from that injury. Need him to get back in the flow.

Yeah I was penciling him in the 10 man rotation for next year but now I might not be upset if he's 10/11 with Grimes and only one of those two makes the 10 man rotation. He needs to be more consistent next year to be in that 10 man permanently.

With $65M in cap space, I’m confident there will be an infusion of talent.

Return to Detroit Pistons
