Stew and Ausar are our two best defenders.... going to be hard to beat a good team without them unless they are sitting some talent.

early injury reports have holiday as out and then the rest of their main guys (tatum, brown, horford and KP) as questionable. all those questionable guys played 2 days ago vs the bucks.

that said, with teams having 12-14 games to go and they have a 10-win lead in the east and a 6-win lead overall this seems like a great game for them to rest on the front half of a back to back.

fontecchio, grimes, stew, ausar and taj gibson are out. umude is out too with a fractured ankle, i totally missed when that happened.

They said the same thing about those guys when we last played Boston. I'm guessing the NBA told them it would be too obvious :D

ugh - I hope that is just bad reporting on umude. He left the game with an ankle sprain. He wasn't carted off or anything, so it being a fracture would be pretty surprising and unfortunate.

Not expecting a win w so many guys out. Too bad because everyone needs to be working on their game. Not judging the rest of the season on Ws, just individual skills being worked on. Ready for the draft and free agency.

Do I want to scratch my eyes out watching Pistons basketball after seeing the Grizzles beat the Wildcats last night?

Good luck to whoever(whomever?) Watches this trainwreck tonight.

Its so sad. I only pop in here to see if Weaver/Monty has been fired, then spend some time on the general board when I watch any other game but Detroits.

BTW, you got league pass, and missed it, last night's Knicks/Nuggs game is worth checking out. Joker was amazing.

They aren't going to fire anyone during the season... I'm watching it because I've been following the Pistons (even when I'd be overseas at odd hours) since the age of 6 and want to see how it develops.

Sold my tickets to tonight’s game.

I put all my tickets on sale since the record was 2-12. I saw it coming. Made some money off some tickets and lost on others. Don’t care. My boycott to go to games starts now. I’m not buying tickets next season.

There is NO indication that we will not be a bottom 5 team again next season.

You know what’s gonna happen this summer? We won’t sign anyone. We’ll resign our players and Weaver will say we tried and failed.

The WORST move of the season is yet to happen. What is it? Firing Weaver after the season ends. Why? It should’ve been done a month before the trade deadline. It would confirm that we have a dead beat owner that has no clue what he’s doing.

I don’t see anything changing soon except our roster.

Gores - made 100s of millions in increased value of the team. He’s in a happy place.

Weaver - he has Gores bought into long term plan and regardless of the losses, is letting him finish the rebuild. Got a young core, got a ton of cap space for the summer. He’s going to get an opportunity to spend it.

Monty - Gores and Weaver would look like idiots if they fire Monty now. They gave him the huge deal and they are going to let this play out. I’m thinking he’s coaching a different game than we think. I’m sure he wants to win but his goal for this year is developing the team. With that contract, I’m sure he’s not feeling any urgency or pressure. Just doing it on his timeline.

Taxpayers paid 90% of the stadium, but when Gores/Tellem sell it for a billion profit, taxpayers get nothing.

Impressive for Ausar to have the 2nd best on/off as a young rookie... especially with how bad he is at shooting. He plays smart winning basketball and has a chance to be a really big impact player for us if he can fix that shot.

Stadium is long-term leased to the Ilitches and operated by Ilitch and Gores. You don't sell an old stadium so much as abandon it, and leave it to the city to figure out what to do when they want the next big stadium because LCA is obsolete.

This is how you handle the Celtics. I love Bird's look here:
