Yeah, the whole team is out... They're not giving up the worst record after how **** they've been this season. They might have one or *POSSIBLY* two wins in them down the home stretch. They aren't rolling out a single competitive lineup for the rest of the season.

I just hope Cade plays. It's a very ugly game without him.

Its crazy to me after all these years of tanking this is the product we have on the court. The team is worse now then its ever been. We werent even trying to tank this year its just the team Troy built is this bad.

This season, it's mostly been pretty fugly regardless of our roster. A hurt Cade is maybe worse than no Cade.

Detroit Pistons’ Quentin Grimes Knee Injury: Future & Surgery Concerns
By BVM Sportsdesk, 03/08/2024
In the 2023-24 season, with little to play for, the Detroit Pistons are scrutinizing Quentin Grimes' fit within the team, obtained in a trade with the Knicks, but his persistent knee injury is raising concerns as he misses more games.

The Big Picture
The Pistons are in a critical phase of evaluating Grimes' role in their future roster amidst his recurring knee issues, highlighting the importance of his performance and health for the team's decision-making process.

By the Numbers
Grimes played 71 games in year two and has appeared in 49 games this season, missing 11 games and counting due to injury.
He has been on the injury list three times with knee injuries since 2022, with concerns growing about the potential need for offseason surgery.
State of Play
Grimes' recurring knee injury is a focal point as the Pistons consider extending his contract for next season.
The team faces a delicate balance between Grimes' value as a 3-and-D wing player and the risks associated with his injury history.
What's Next
The Pistons will closely monitor Grimes' injury situation in the remaining games of the season to make an informed decision on his future with the team, potentially impacting their offseason plans.

Bottom Line
Quentin Grimes' persistent knee issues are posing a significant dilemma for the Pistons, forcing a careful assessment of his long-term role with the team and potential implications for their future strategy and player development.

Yeah I was excited about the trade but its looking bad Grimes is a lemon. Not that I loved BB+Burks but at least they were competent players on offense. This roster is process sixers level bad right now its not a good look.

At least Fontecchio looks like a long-term piece. How exciting lol

I like Fontecchio and see him as a 14/7 guy, which is fine. Decent defender, so he's definitely a keeper. Can shoot the 3 and go to the hole. Pretty smart player, is what we need. Athleticism and shooting (not that we have many greats) is nothing without basketball IQ, but you need everyone on the same page. Not just 1-2 smart players.

I like him too. I just hope in two seasons we still like him when he gets his contract.

Hard to watch the rest of these games. A lot of guys are shut down. Good for guys like Sassar and Wiseman to get a lot of minutes.

This is probably the last year of losing I’ll watch. Not sure if I can stomach year 16 in not rebuild

Well, it's actually a mistake.

all the main guys are out .... I haven't missed a game in many years, but it's becoming easy to zone out. Must be a defense mechanism for their lack of defense, and last game's offense was so ugly.

More bad news... Burks is OUT.
I was hoping these last dozen games would be a chance for our core to play well together, and go into the off-season with confidence. We just won 4 out of 10 before Ausar and Stew went out...

That’s what’s so disappointing, wasted season and we don’t know how/if these guys can build/have chemistry. I’d guess cade/ivey/ausar/duren have played like less than 25% of minutes together this year. Just a **** show of a season
