Everbody has so many different values and positions on players. I respect Scott Wright the most from NFLDraftcountdown.com. He has the Vikes taking Derrick Harvey. He also mentions Jackson as a possibility but I think Jackson for the reasons I stated above make a lot of sense. I will always have a valued argument for all my picks. Never just copy and pasted stuff from someone else unless it makes absolute sense.

Scott Wright's top 32

Player Class Position School
1. Darren McFadden JR RB Arkansas
Elite talent who is destined to become one of the league's top rushers.
2. Glenn Dorsey SR DT L.S.U.
Simply one of the best defensive tackle prospects we've seen in years.
3. Jake Long SR OT Michigan
A left tackle who is not quite Joe Thomas but is better than Levi Brown.
4. Chris Long SR DE Virginia
Technician who plays the run and pass and has an unparalleled motor.
5. Kenny Phillips JR S Miami (FL)
Fantastic athlete and the next in a long line of elite Hurricane safeties.
6. Vernon Gholston JR DE Ohio St.
Versatile pass rusher extraordinaire and also a rare physical specimen.
7. Sedrick Ellis SR DT USC
Prototypical 3-technique who can rush the passer and defend the run.
8. DeSean Jackson JR WR California
Better prospect than Ted Ginn was as both a wideout and return man.

9. Jonathan Stewart JR RB Oregon
An impact runner with a truly rare blend of size, speed and athleticism.
10. Ryan Clady JR OT Boise St.
You won't find many guys this size with such good feet and athleticism.
11. Matt Ryan SR QB Boston College
Off the charts intangibles and physical tools are more than adequate.
12. Derrick Harvey JR DE Florida
Top pass rusher who is a better prospect than Jarvis Moss was in '07.
13. Brian Brohm SR QB Louisville
Has the physical tools and the stats but is he a product of the system?
14. Keith Rivers SR OLB USC
Undersized but pretty athletic and he even wears #55 for the Trojans.
15. Limas Sweed SR WR Texas
Great size and a big play specialist but timed speed's a question mark.
16. Reggie Smith JR S Oklahoma
Versatile defensive back with superb athleticism and playmaking skills.
17. Andr

The Bears don't have a second round pick?

Speaking of our secondary Mayock said Phillips could fall into the second..... Chris Long and Kenny Phillips anyone?

I'm pretty sure thats every Rams fan wet dream, but I doubt it will happen. I would just happy if the Rams could pull off a trade to go down about 5 spots.
What would be wrong with having a Demarcus Ware on the St.Louis Rams.

Nothing, but you called the kid a clown.

Honestly I would rather have C. Long or Dorsey over J. Long. Or trade down to get Vernon.

Personally I think I want Ellis over Dorsey. After the combine if Ellis goes to it, you will see his name over Dorsey's.

Really not liking the Pats picks in this draft. If they go linebacker (which I doubt) I think it has to be an inside backer. The team has Thomas, Colvin, and Vrabel to play the outside.

Wouldn't shock me if they trade down and maybe grab a left tackle.

Love the Cowboy draft. I am not crazy about small WRs, but I guy like Avery can be very useful with Glenn most uncertain

Cincinnati's draft is OK. Sedrick Ellis to the Bengals is almost a mortal lock unless some team finds DT truly a need pick...he could be third overall, but I highly doubt it.

Jerod Mayo, though? Cincinnati already has enough incompetent LBs as is. They could just wait a round, grab J Leman, and be just as easily satisfied.

bengals won't take two LBs in the first two rounds. it will not happen. bengals are actually stacked at the LB position.

Yeah. Stacked with terrible talent.

DT, OT, and CB are probably more easily solved needs than LB, but that huge glut of mediocrity needs to be diluted at some point. Methinks not this year.

not really terrible talents... just stacked with injury and suspension. ahmad brooks has great talents. landon johnson is consistent. lemar marshall should he can still play in game one. odell thurman is a beast and he's coming back. jeanty is decent.

How could you forget Ahmad Brooks' name when you trumpeted him the most in the pre-season? Whatever. He's the most talented LB on the team but he'd probably only be the 4th best on a good team. Odell Thurman should be cut, and David Pollack should be ruled out. Landon Johnson and Caleb Miller are nothing to be afraid of. Dhani Jones played well in his limited time but he won't be effective in a couple of years.
