Who is your sleeper in the 2013 draft?

Post#1 » by tcorbin » Sun Mar 24, 2013 8:43 am

Jared Allen, Steve Smith, Michael Turner, Jason Taylor, Hines Ward, Matt Hasselbeck, Tom Brady, Adrian Wilson, Rudi Johnson, T. J. Houshmandzadeh, Lance Briggs, Jason Witten, Asante Samuel....

What mid round selection do you think could end up being a multiple pro bowl selection?

i'm going with Travis Johnson. underrated, below average athlete, but high motor high production DE/OLB out of San Jose St.

I don't know about multiple pro bowls, but some guys in the middle/late rounds I'm more bullish on than most:

DJ Swearinger, S, South Carolina
Josh Johnson, CB, Purdue
Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall
Ace Sanders, WR, South Carolina
Levine Toilolo, TE, Stanford
Joe Kruger, DE/DT, Utah
Travis Long, OLB, Washington State
Michael Mauti, LB, Penn State
B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary

Devonte Holloman is my top one

I don't know about Pro Bowls but I like these 4th round or later guys to become quality NFL starters:
Josh Johnson
Corey Fuller
Mike Catapano
Dax Swanson
Ray Graham
Armonty Bryant

Kiko Alonso is a good choice. Very talented player but he is likely legitimately crazy, as in clinically psychotic or unbalanced. I've not met him but I know scouts and a couple of people associated with the Ducks program who have told me he is one scary dude. If he can keep it together he has legit above-average skills. Last guy I can recall who was like that in terms of how people around him felt about him in that way was Chris Henry, who teammates legitimately feared was going to kill them in cold blood before he cleaned up. Then once he was clean and balanced he was a very likable guy and a very good talent. Hope that happens for Alonso.

Thought of another good sleeper I like: Jack Doyle, TE, Western Kentucky. Dude will be a quality #2 TE for a decade
