The Washington Nationals are off to a slow start, and playing the red-hot Atlanta Braves isn't helping.

We gotta have this one tonight. Let's get to Jerome early. I'd really like to see Kelly Johnson have another good game, and to provide that instant spark we need. Right now our pitching looks outstanding, keep it up Chucky

I hated seeing Soriano get roughed up, but the Braves respond the next inning with 3 runs of their own. Very pleasing.

The Jones boys break out of their RBI slump, another scoreless outing by our starter, Mets lose and the Marlins are losing. Great night. If Arizona loses, that'll be icing on the cake.

7-1 and looking good.

Says Smoltz is pitching tomorrow. If true, might as well take out the brooms.

Return to Atlanta Braves
