Should I do this trade?

Post#1 » by Matches Malone » Sun Oct 13, 2013 7:06 pm

I'm being offered Antonio Brown and Ronnie Hillman for Bilal Powell and Stevie Johnson.

My RB's are Doug Martin, Zac Stacy, Bilal Powell and Stevan Ridley

My WR's are A.J. Green, Mike Wallace, Stevie Johnson, Keenan Allen and Nate Washington

Stevie has a back injury which could potentially linger. And considering the QB carousel in Buffalo you might as well deal him. Hillman and Powell are both pretty mediocre. I like what Antonio Brown has been doing the last couple weeks; he's highly involved in their passing game and makes for a solid WR2.

Thanks for the insight! I was leaning towards accepting it with how well Brown has been playing in the Steelers offense and I figured I could move Powell with Zac Stacy coming around. Hope Stevan Ridley can play as well as he did today.

I'd take this deal I think. Stacy looks like he's got a stranglehold on the lead role going forward.

Truthfully it's just great value as well. And I like Brown a lot. Yeah take this before he peels it back.

I'd take it as well. To me, A Brown is easily the best player in the deal.

Definitely take. Brown is far and away the best player. Not very high on Powell or Johnson going forward.

Is this PPR?

I like this deal though, Brown is by far the best player in the deal and that usually signifies a good move unless you're giving up sick value.

Hillman though is pretty much unstartable.

I will say though, if Johnson get healthy and when Manuel comes back, he was very effective with him.

Powell isn't great, but he's a startable RB2 or at least a Flex, though I wonder if he holds onto the lead role or if it doesn't become a somewhat messy committee anyway.

I could also see Hillman being a surprise trade candidate or the Broncos working him in more without cutting into Moreno's touches, like a larger Sproles.

Again, I like this deal, not sure if I love it, but definitely like it.

Edit: LOL, I just realized I replied to this when you first posted it, carry on. I'm really burnt this afternoon.
