Cousins' deal includes a $50 million signing bonus and $90 million guaranteed over the next two seasons with an additional $10 million guaranteed in 2026 for a whopping $100 million total in guarantees, per Pelissero.

That...is a lot of money.

I hope this works out better than Mariota or Heincke.

I don't like the signing, but I haven't like any moves the ATL front office have made in the last 10 plus years, which explains how many playoffs wins the Falcons have had in the last 10 years.

Falcons always knows how to make moves to settle into that sweet spot of mediocre to bad.

But this this move I'm still all for and hoping to drafting Pratt or Hartman in the 5th-6th round

Cousins is intriguing me to and I expect us to stay on top of the division if he stays healthy. I have been a season ticketholder for twenty two years and we need some playoff excitement.

I never realized how good Cousins' stats are. I always thought Cousins' numbers were alittle below Ryan but they are actually alittle bit higher than Ryan's.

With that said, I still don't like the signing. With Cousins' bad leg, the Falcons pretty much a clone of a 36yr Matt Ryan, which is basically a good arm but can't get out of the pocket, can't pick up the blitz and will get sacked +40 times.

I also don't like it for the obvious reason the Falcons only have a 2 year window with Kirk. If Bo Nix or Maye falls to the 2nd, then i guess you have to take them

With Kirk, the Falcons super bowl window is now officially 2 years.......

Should the Falcons trade #8 for Khalil Mack and #37?

Mack's super bowl window is also 2 years. Chargers can use #5 and #8 to get Rome Odunze, and Bowers.

I expect us to rely on filling holes by the draft now. Defense with Turner in the first round

I would be very happy with taking Dallas at #8, but on the other hand Turner to me has a ceiling of Khalil Mack and a floor of Vic Beasley.
