He was playing good defense for a few months when Mike Malone was coach. He's been in a horrible situation his whole career

Lakers think they can talk to anyone. Aura of smugness about that franchise is nauseating.

Though 16 Championships will do that to you...

Mozgov to the Lakers for $14m/year wtf. Shows how poorly the league views Festus if he wasn't the guy getting that amount...

Mozgov is unrestricted, with Festus you'd have to wait till the moratorium ended and then wait again for the W's to see if they match. It makes the most sense to go unrestricted first now if they don't get Deadre'd they know for sure they have a guy (not saying that's a good thing).

Biyombo signed with Orlando. Its actually pretty nice priced contract. I think ORL will be the lowest scoring team in NBA history with Gordon and Elfrid Payto to go with Biyombo, but defensively they will be good.

Eric Gordon has been constantly injured and playing like crap but collecting HUGE pay checks for so so long, and will now be collecting them for even longer. Amazing what that guy has been able to earn in the NBA.

damn Duncan likely retiring, legit wonder how much of the decision was a reaction to durant to the dubs.
i mean the only reason he would play 1 more year was b/c of a chance at a title.

I think he can still be a productive bench player this year, but he did look like running on his last legs in the last playoffs.

Looks like Utah is ready to jump into some playoffs spots for a few years. Good off season so far for them.
