They will all lose 5 games.
We need to lose only 2 games, hard to do.
Maverick lost in Boston, not that we can win in Boston.

These teams must play each other. Hopefully they all must also play Nuggets and Celtics.

Nuggets and Celtics NBA finals will probably happen but Warriors getting to the conference finals will satisfy me.

Same here. They need to make it 6th so it's not the playin though. Old guys need some rest.

Curry and Podz both questionable for Celtics.

It would be entirely reasonable for the Dubs to drop one to the hottest team in the NBA. But, wouldn't it be awesome if they didn't listen to reason and WON tomorrow?! :D

I went back to the well of eternal optimism one too many times, only to find the Boston town folk had plans to defecate in it. :D

On the positive side, the Mavericks lost. With 3 games against them to go, those will be crucial games.

Just one loss, move on. The Warriors just need to continue what they've been doing and realise they are well built and can beat most West teams. Getting to the wcf this season would be a very good achievement considering the start they had.

Sucks being unable to beat a good team, but losing by 2 or 52 is still just one loss. Lots of season left. 8th seed is well within reach and the 6th isn't completely off the table either. Gotta keep chopping wood.

If they keep winning say 3 out of 4 games they'll be in the mix. But poor performances against likely playoff opponents is not a good sign.

Phoenix is expected to be without Booker for 7-10 days. That should help.

Three sets of games next... 3 at home, 3 on road, 3 at home. Feels like we need to go 2-1 in all of them.

14-8 to close the season feels doable when you look at the schedule remaining. That would give us a .561 winning percentage, good enough for 8th seed as it stands now.

Out of the 6/7/8 I want whatever gets the Wolves or Thunder first round instead of the Nuggets.

Yup avoid the nuggets at all costs

The Warriors will have to go through the Nuggets at some point. You could argue that facing them in the first round gives us as an older team the best chance to beat them rather than seeing them in the WCF.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Anyone notice the local talking heads keep talking about playoffs and first round etc? For all I care if they are #9/#10, it is totally possible they can’t win 2 straight to make the playoffs.

Even if they are #7/#8, there is still no guarantee that they will win 1 of 2 games to get into the playoffs.

The players themselves also seem as relaxed as the talking heads. Losing to the Celtics is 1 thing and expected. Coming out so unprepared is another thing. I understand they are 3-0 this trip heading into Boston, but if they see the standings, they should be breathing fire for that game, instead of just going through the motions since tipoff and got blown out.

As it stands now they are 50/50 whether they are even in the playoffs.

Probably true, and obviously I'd lock in a 1st round meeting with the Nuggets right now if that meant we for sure got into the playoffs...

I'm working with Hail Mary type odds here, but in theory I could see a path where we get the Thunder or Wolves, then the Clippers or Mavs, then one of those teams in the WCF if someone beats the Nuggets.

Maybe just a 1 game fluke, but every game is important now. And it's not hard to see them dropping 4 out of the next 7 to MIL, CHI, SA (X2), DAL, LAL, and NYK, which would put them in a very bad position. I feel like they need to win 5 of those to start feeling OK, and even that still isn't great because they're still likely looking at the play-in as a "successful" run.
