The Klay simps always overreact and then disappear after he has a bad game. But it's clear going forward, Klay will have a good game and maybe stretches where he's just meh or bad. So Lacob/Dunleavy have to figure out what that's worth.

$14.58M/yr but it'll probably be $25M/yr for 2 years because they want him to stay.

I think 17m is where he should be. For him to be at 25m means they might be dumping other player salaries rather than using them in trades for players that can help the team. But yeah, the decision might be based on feelings.

Klay thinking he's a Harlem globetrotter when he's a Washington general.

This is where Klay needs to gtfo of the game. His legs get tired and he starts making more braindead decisions than usual.

If science ever figures out how to map people's decision trees in real time, Klay's would be a **** adventure

Kerr has to stop forcing the Saric minutes. If he is making shots he has no reason being on the court.

Here we go. Kerr sees Klay make a moronic decision and still keeps him in the game.

My guess is that part of the Kerr negotiation was bringing Klay back. Not an open checkbook, but I bet they agreed to leave the 2/48 on the table.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Why couldn't Kerr just call a timeout to get a
Steph, Dray and Moody back in the game? Why let them cut more into the lead?

Because Kerr can't get an erection at night if he's not cutting it close.
