I'd trade them the San Antonio pick if they relinquish the rights to next years. Maybe even toss in Dorell,if they squeeze me hard lol.

They made a deal in the past with New Jersey I think and gave them a second round pick, what happened with that pick has it been used already or traded?

Give them #52 or change the protection for next year. There is no guarantee GSW make the playoffs next year could be another lottery pick.

Actually Dorell is a better version of Miles who is limited......Dorell migjt fit there.....and dont forget the Raja wants out.

I'd give them Dorell and relax the restrictions on next years pick.

I can't for the life of me think why Utah would want this, they still have a 1 in 3 chance of getting the pick... a top 10 one at that. Hopefully we don't oversell.

What the hell is you management doing...just wait till lottery, 70 % chance to retain pick and only 30% one of the teams 8th or lower jumps into top 3. I sure would take those chances.

Why would the Jazz trade away a 1st round pick next year that could be anywhere from #7 to #20, for the #30 pick this year?

I wish the FO would just sack up and wait the damn Marcus Williams trade out without making it worse and worse.

Dorrell Wright plus top 3 protected pick next year should be enough. But I don't want to do it, I like the odds of keeping our pick.

FWIW, if I'm the Jazz, I just take my 1 in 4 chance at a lotto pick this year and take the GSW pick next year, which should be in the 10 - 14 range. If the Jazz get a shot at PJIII, Barnes, Lillard or TJones and don't take it, that seems lame.

I get it from the Warriors perspective, but it still seems a little panicky. As far as the Jazz are concerned, they have about a 1 in 3 chance of getting a top ten pick without doing anything, so the Warriors are going to have to bring something pretty darn good to the table to get the Jazz to fold their hand.

The Jazz already have 5 guys with 2 years or less experience, which lessens the value of late round draft picks like the Spurs' pick. I think it would pretty much take waiving the protection off of the pick next year or a significant player asset (read: more than Dorrell Wright) in order to get the Jazz to give up their stake in that pick.

It seems to me like the price is going to be too high for GSW and the return too low for the Jazz, so lets just wait until lottery day and see where the ping pong balls land.

Good move depending on what the Jazz want. I wouldnt overpay, but we do need this pick.

The #8 pick in this draft has more value that the Ws are likely to offer in trade. If they don't get it this year, they get a decent pick next year. The Jazz probably pass.

Take off the protection in 2013 and send the Jazz 3mil and it's a deal.
