Probably waiting to resolve the Love situation. Probably need to keep whatever few pennies we have left to do that deal if it happens. Once we know for sure (one way for the other) we can probably move on some of these other smaller deals. I think Udoh could be nice once that's determined.

I hope that's not the case, because we need another big whether we get Love or not.

@sam_amick
Free agent big man Ekpe Udoh considering contenders, with decision expected this weekend. Was close to Clippers until they did Glen Davis.

I flat out don't want Ekpe. Last season we had enough bench players with zero offense to last a lifetime.

If Ekpe signs for what Rush signed for then I'd be down for him. He'd complement either Love or Lee however I wouldn't play him more than 12-15 minutes per night. Jordan Hill still unsigned? Damn I wish Speights on a one year deal.

Kendall Marshall anyone?

He's for sure better than Nedovic and i bet that HB would love this and maybe gain some confidence back playing with his former teammate.

$915K salary for 2014-15. Gotta figure some team under the cap will claim him off waivers.

Wonder how much Okafor wants. Think Phoenix will keep him but if he would go for the minimum he'd be great here.

I still can't believe we drafted this scrub over Greg Monroe and Paul George at #6 from the 2010 NBA Draft. A 23-year-old rookie who's a poor rebounding, already reached his peak potential, Monty Williams' prison GF, jumpshot taking brick construction worker with a name that means a lion, but more like a pussycat playing one trick pony. Now, he can't even stay healthy to do his only one trick. I agreed with you on this one 100%. I FLAT OUT DON'T WANT EKPE UDOH EITHER.

Whocurrz said he wanted him last season and it would of been great to have him last season to team up with his boy Barnes. There's no question moving to the bench had a big effect on Barnes, but the bigger effect is Barnes not having a legit quality PG to play with. I mean Toney Douglas, Jordan Crawford, and Steve Blake? :banghead:

If he's healthy enough, I would sign this guy immediately. I thought Cole Aldrich would of been a nice cheap center that was overlooked. He brings good defense to this team.

Bucks picked him up. He would of been great as the #3 PG over the complete useless Nemanja Nedovic.

Udoh would definitely go for cheap and a great fit. For a 3rd string center to be used for nothing but defense and relieve bogut of heavy mins why not?

I'd be ok with this. I just hated it when he was our starting Center. Make a decent backup 4 and sometimes could could occasionally give us a few Center minutes. If he were willing to take a vets minimum, I'd go for it (which he might since this would be familiar surroundings and it where he has so far his most success). May have to wait until this Love situation is resolved once and for all which is what I think the FO is currently doing.

He wore a nice suit to the interview and got the job. He's the poster child of the Reily era.

Totally agreed. I really hope we're kicking the tires on Okafor..... He was never "good" offensively, but he was competent, which is more than many back-up centers are. And his defense was always very good.

Yeah, I know he has injury issues.... But I'll take my chances with 3 different guys (Bogut, Okafor, Ezeli) with injury problems, fully expecting 1-2 of them may be out at any one time, but also with Kuzmic, Lee, and even Speights being able to take some minutes at center.....

I believe Udoh was a lab expirement crossing the genes of Jeff Fuller, Adonal Foyle, and Andres Biedrens. I would take JO at the minimum as a 3rd center. Unlike Udoh, I think JO actually has fingers attached to his hands and can put backspin on a 4 foot bank shot.
