No, it means more that Kaman means nothing to me.

So you think the Suns would give up Frye and two #1 picks for David Lee?

If that trade was close to being true (or legal for that matter) why wouldn't we just cut out Brooklyn and take Frye and the picks for ourselves?

It has already been noted that this trade violates at least three CBA rules. I'm not sure why it needs further discussion. Cutting out the Nets doesn't alleviate all of the issues.

Yup. Hope it continues to rise.

Best deal: Barnes + Lee + Klay for Love + KevMart
Middle deal: Barnes + Lee + Bazemore/Brooks for Deng (expiring) + TThompson + Waiters
Low deal: Barnes + Lee for Biyombo + MKG + BGordon (expiring)

As anyone thinks, my trade ideas are awful but I believe that this is not so bad. So, continue reading if you're interested. It's between PHX-CHI-GSW.

Bulls get: Emeka Okafor, Harrison Barnes, P.J. Tucker and TPE
Suns get: David Lee, Mike Dunleavy
Warriors Get: Taj Gibson, Kirk Hinrich

Woah. Before any violent reactions, let me explain. I don't know if the Suns would want David Lee but they need a PF for a deep playoff run and with the addition of Mike Dunleavy, they get two veterans. They will lose Emeka Okafor who is really useless on their team, that has a large salary and P.J. Tucker, both of them are expiring.

For the Bulls, like I said, they receive two expiring deals (with one huge expiring) and the large TPE (4M Brandon Rush and 9M RIchard Jefferson) that the Warriors have. While planning to Amnesty Boozer, they would have a large salary cap to sign a superstar in the offseason, playing with Derrick Rose. Barnes in the other hand, would have a larger role with the Bulls, playing with Butler, Noah and Rose, I hope he progress there.

Well for the Warriors, with David Lee's huge contract and Klay Thompson's future extension, it would be hard to have both with limited money but receiving Gibson (with reasonable contract) and Hinrich would help in that area. Not to mention, they are a great help for a Deep Playoff run.

Thanks for reading. Now it's you turn. Thoughts? Should we hold on to David lee and Harrison Barnes or should we let them go? Next up, Upgrade on back-up big men?

Projected Lineup:
Curry/Hinrich
Thompson/Crawford
Iguodala/Green
Gibson/Speights
Bogut/Oneal/ Ezeli

Too bad when his trade value rises, the idiots will perk up again and our fanbase will like him again, and we'll keep him. When have we ever sold high?

We sold high when we traded Jason Richardson for Brandan Wright

See. He's well rested to help the Warriors in the second half of the season. He's not playing because MDA doesn't want two post players in at the same time so he usually has Gasol in there and when gasol is out, i don't even know what MDA does. Bottom line. Trading two scrubs for a better bench with scoring ability is always good.

Do the Knicks want cash?

Didn't want to start a new thread, as I'm a guest, but according to Sean Deveney, you guys are interested in Brandon Bass.

Still convinced we lost that trade.

W's part:

Among the teams interested in Bass, sources told Sporting News, are the Warriors, who still have trade exceptions from the summer deal that sent Richard Jefferson and Andris Biedrins to Utah. Backup forward Marreese Speights has been a disappointment this season, averaging 5.7 points on just 40.8 percent shooting, and the team misses the production it got from Carl Landry off the bench last year.

The Warriors don’t have a pick in this year’s draft to offer Boston, but could absorb his contract and do have a combination of young players that includes injured center Festus Ezeli, as well as rookies Nemanja Nedovic and Ognjen Kuzmic.

Such a deal could push the Warriors over the luxury tax threshold, and there is some question about whether the team would cross that line. To avoid the tax, the Warriors would have to unload Speights, who is owed $3.66 million next season.

But in the offseason, owner Joe Lacob told Sporting News, “I don’t want to pay the luxury tax, nobody wants to. That’s why it is a luxury tax, it is very punitive. But if it means winning vs. not winning, I choose winning. So that’s not an issue.”

Looks like we'd trade the TPE and a bunch of trash, but no picks. I'm in. Though Big Mouf Bass is another jump shooter...

Then again, he only needs to be better then Speights.

Ha, word.

I don't think you can find a better comparison to Landry than Bass FWIW. They do most of the same stuff and are under-sized, yet strong. Landry was the **** man last year, I really miss him.

If we pick up yet another 4 we HAVE TO trade Barnes for a wing.

David Lee & Harrison Barnes for Amir Johnson, Landry Fields & Julian Stone and a pick. What're the odds Toronto jumps on that?
