Seth Curry

Looking like he is close to signing a guaranteed deal with the Pelicans

Happy for the kid. Can't be easy dealing with steph as his brother in terms of making the league

I'm happy for Seth. He's always been in the shadows of his bigger brother, it's time for him to get some satisfaction.

I remember his freshman season at Liberty people were saying he was better than Steph -- possibly looked like he had more potential even though he was in a weak conference. Been a fan of him since then and especially since he went to Duke after. He was a solid player at Duke and was a top player, but got out shined by Kyrie Irving, Austin Rivers etc.

I watched Seth in d-league showcase earlier this year...definitely better than theo ther d-leaguers, but his handles and quickness was lacking. He was primary ballhandler, but got picked badly a few times and didn't have the handle to maneuver around the defender. I think he's an inch or two shorter than Steph so his speed and handles are important. hope he gets the 3rd string spot though! He's better than a lot of scrubs in the NBA -- just needs to find a home.

PS - he's more skilled 1 on 1 than delladova i feel, but replace curry with delladova and cavs would be worse right now.

He is improving on the areas he needed to improve on. This summer I am seeing him get 3 or 4 steals a game. He is rebounding well for a guard of his size too. There is no question he can score. I hope he catches on with the Pelicans.

I can't help but for the Pelicans to succeed some next season with Gentry there and Seth hopefully being a contributor.

I understand about being in a siblings shadow but Seth Curry should be the 3rd PG collecting wins and rings on the Warriors IMO.

Not many can duplicate Steph Curry like brother. Now he will be a good 6th man for an improving competitor.

I wouldn't want to play in my brothers shadow if I had other opportunities and so I would understand Seths decision to play for any team but the Warriors.

i think some are overrating "playing under Steph's shadow." Just assuming, but doubt Seth cares.

I would think Seth just wants to play in the NBA. If it's for his brother's team, cool...

I got some insight from somebody who knows both of them. While there isn't resentment for Steph, it does matter to Seth that he "makes it on his own".

If Seth Curry is the 6th man for your team I think it's safe to say your team isn't competing for the playoffs lol

Don't think he'll be the 13th man, but don't think he'll be the first off the bench either. Good for him though.

Maybe the Kings will sign Michael Thompson now?

Seems official that little brother is on the Kings. Good luck to him! Not the best locker room to be in, but I wish him the best.

Elite shooter 6th man on Warriors, Spurs, Cavs, Hawks, Rockets, Clippers, OKC ,Bulls.

I think they make playoffs.

Hope the best for Seth, I think he's got what it takes to carve out an NBA career.

I would love to see him and Steph go head to head in an NBA game. You know Steph would have fun with that matchup too.

You know damn well Seth would be the 10-12th guy on any of those teams. Point I was making was he's not that good. It was the summer league...let's see how he does on the Kings first before calling him an elite shooter

44pct from 3 for Duke making him all ACC and 2nd team all American is pretty good. Quick release and accurate makes someone pretty elite.

Seth IMO will have a 10 yr Steve Kerr like career in the Era of pace and space. George Karl knows how to develop PGs IMO. Rondo lacking shooting, Collison being injury prone and lots of small ball around Cousins I think Curry will make an impadr.

Like I said, let's see him do it in the NBA first. Jimmer Fredette was a great college player and look how he's struggled in the league. I'd take the under on Seth Curry having a 10 year career. We'll see what he does in Sac
