I'm really interested in what Nash will bring to the table. Nash, Kerr and West. Damn that's hell of a lot of basketball IQ right there.

Festus looks impressive physically, he has really put in the work. I think he may have passed Barnes in best physique on the team.

Whats amazing to me is that not only is he built rock solid and huge, but he also has a 7'6" wingspan. He's super smart, so if the light bulb ever goes fully on, then dang he could really improve alot.

I'm hoping he is working on his dexterity and his eye to hand coordination, as well as becoming Mr. Atlas. He showed some flashes in the playoffs of finally being able to consistently catch the ball, especially in traffic.

I think Kerr and his coaching staff are excellent at seeing what guys need to work on and making sure they do. I see a lot of one on one conversations with players and coaches during games and I'm sure there is so much more communication going on we never see. I also believe there is a lot and a lot and a lot of film study goes on as well. Quite the difference from Jackson and his approach. Kerr likes the details and knows that a little miscues here and there are huge in the scope of things. Jackson had no attention to detail and let players play.

Our offense will be better, but our D will likely be worse...Bogut and Dre will be a year older and less mobile. Let's hope our offense offsets our decline in D and we win another chip!!

No David Lee minutes. Not a good defender.

Barnes defense could improve a bit.

Ezeli will play more minutes and he's a good defender.

Iguodala just got the knee injections in Germany. So he might be just as good as last year.

Overall defense is about conviction. I expect our conviction will be strong because everyone on the team knows that defense wins, and the bench guys who lost playing time only regained some minutes by dedicating to defense.

Perhaps...Lee didn't exactly play much until the Finals. Ezeli has physical tools and athleticism, but lacks the top notch awareness that Bogut has. It remains to be seen whether he'll develop that. Dre should be similar. I think we may take a small step down on D, but not significant enough to derail our chances.
