That's right!

In the past, I have always wanted to get Patty on the Dubs but those days are probably over now.

Same here, always wanted Mills as a backup to Steph. Similarly, I wanted Joseph as a backup for a long time... then we signed him when he was well past his prime. So now, I fully expect Mills to be our backup next year and shoot like 28%.

If Ben Simmons was bought out would you want him on the Warriors next season on a smallish contract?

I say yes, Warriors are a great fit for his game. If he came in on a small contract after a buy out Warriors wouldn't have to rely on him from the jump. Warriors are a good place to get right after physical or mental issues. He's another non-shooter but does so much else well.

He’s not as athletic as he used to be after his back problems. Also no longer seems to have desire to play.

Sure, if you want someone who might play 15 games a year.

Get Javonte green to replace Klay. Draft Karaban at 50 whatever.

Curry/podz
Green/lester
Wiggins/moody/gp2
Dray/jk/karaban
Tjd/looney/garuba

Trade jk and moody for a wing that Kerr will actually play that would be great. I’d give up the godfather offer for Lauri. Jk/moody 26/28 1sts 25/27 swaps 30 top 1-20 pick.

Javonte Green? Didn't we have this guy rotting away in Santa Cruz.

I think a good off season for us would be to either get a "star" like Paul George if he can somehow force his way to GS. Or, like you said, get somebody like Lauri. But instead of Javonte, maybe if we still have the assets, bring in Caruso. I'm done with GP2. And bring back Klay if Kerr can finally just commit to giving him a lesser role.

Steph/Podz
Caruso/Lester
Wiggins/Klay
Draymond/Santos
Lauri/TJD

I like Lauri, but he misses 30 games a year, and that's not likely to get better with time.

Does he really miss 30 games a year or are the Jazz tanking the past 2 years to get better draft picks?

In his 7 year career for Chicago, Cleveland, then Utah, he has played 68, 52, 50, 51, 61, 66, 55 games ... that's an average of 57 games, and the Jazz played him more games than he played since he was a rookie last year, this year he struggled with shoulder issues and it flaring up is what ended his season.

Like I said, I like his game, but he's often unavailable. Averaging 25 missed games a season over 7 seasons is a LOT.
