All-Star is just a complete farce these days.

Lets have proper games where fouls are actually called.

Would be good if players could just represent the area where they are actually from... like where they were born or first played basketball!

Would bring a bit of pride and competitiveness back into the game.

Maybe...

Alternate each year.

East vs West

USA vs World squad.

Playing competitively sounds like a good idea until some players get injured.

If the ASG generates revenues for the host city and get decent TV ratings, just leave it alone.

Rather have a farce with minimal chances of injury than players getting injured in a game that doesn't count.

I had Poku in my top 5 that year.

Timing is interesting as he is now going to be eligible for a 2way... I'd much rather have him one than Pat Spencer who will almost certainly never be a relevant NBA player.

The globetrotters are fun. Watching NBA players attempt and make crazy shots and dunks is fun. It's not the same thing as a real game and I don't need it to be. Last thing I would want to watch is a bunch of guys foul-grifting their way through an All Star game "because it's so important"

If you don't enjoy exhibition basketball, go outside and foul your friends.

Definitely more than Spencer, but this slenderman looking guy would get absolutely zero opportunity here and he probably knows it

I kinda expect him to go to Europe. He really could shine over there

OKC really should have made some trades. Poku wasn't getting an extension and Giddey may not either.

They have two potential lotto picks in the next draft too.

All those picks and apparently Presti wants to get some max type of player.

However, he's already paying a max to SGA and will have to pay Williams and probably Chet maxes as well.

They need high level rotation players so that is what they should be using some of their assets for.

Otherwise, they're going to have to keep moving or waiving players whom they drafted using FRPs.

At this point, Bob Myers should be collecting a salary from Jordan. Unbelievable when you think about the money that ball sack is getting paid to play basketball.

Maybe they trade for somebody like Mikal Bridges this off season? It's either them or the Rockets.

there's an evident referees issue in the league.

the refs have been inexplicably bad. KCP literally kicks the ball and they review the call and they call it out on Curry. You can't move your foot into the ball's path.

I mean I get missed calls happen, but they literally reviewed the kick ball and still said it was out on Curry.

sure, that review was ludicrous but come on, a tackle?! that doesn't fall into the "missed calls" category.

We saw curry get tackled on a game tying shot in the playoffs with a no call.

Dallas losing on a 60 foot heave was massive for our seeding :)

Honestly cannot tell if referees are worse than usual or if gamblers are bitching more what with the full court press to get people into gambling, which I still think is shameful and preying on vulnerable people which often pushes them into even worse spots. But thats a whole other rant

Egregious calls are being highlighted, but even ridiculous things are getting ink. Q's little scuffle with Bridges opened up a debate about how the Warriors were clearly trying to cover the spread. Each questionable call now becomes an organized hit to separate people from their money. And this is still relatively new.. its not going to get better. Not sure they can unring the bell either
