I'm not saying we do this, just hypothetically speaking what could he bring us?

Freaking Gobert commanded 4 first round picks.

For some reason, all Warriors assets seem to have less value in the eyes of the media and other teams. Were Steph to be put on the market, all we would hear is that Steph is in the "twilight of his career" and thus worth much less. That said, I don't see Steph ever being traded - unless Draymond were to physically attack him...In which case prior history suggests the Dubs would make a bunch of excuses for Draymond's behavior and then ship out Steph.

Well theoretically... OKC would be a great trade partner as they are contenders now and likely favorites with Steph. They have picks galore and some nice young players for the Warriors rebuild.

Start the talks with... Steph and Santos
For
Bertans, Dort, Giddey, J.Willams and 4 picks.

Curry and Wiggins to Cha for Miller, Rozier, Hayward, and picks.

Then flip Rozier and Looney to NY for Grimes, Fournier, and another pick.

Finish by shipping Draymond to LA for Hachimura and JHS.

Save 200M this year. Get out of the tax next year. See if any of Podz, JHS, Moody, Kuminga, Miller, TJD, Grimes amount to anything.

I see now the masses are coming around to my pov
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

one of the few players that, even at 36 years of age, can shift the balance in the league.
he goes to any contender or supposed so, they become straight away title favourites.
so he would worth a lot. a lot.

This is 100% a Kuya thread.

It is hard to make contracts work with a Curry trade.

Because of Curry’s age teams that are not legitimate championship contenders should not trade for Curry.

You don’t trade a guy that’s on the Mount Rushmore of Bay Area sports unless he requests it, and at that point you’re kind of limited to a team he wants to go to.

Exactly. The only way Curry is traded is if he requests a trade and has he ever even hinted at wanting to play elsewhere?

He's here as long as he's playing. Lacob knows that and therefore feels no pressure to actually do anything.

yeah, i guess that lack of pressure determined him to pay the biggest salary payroll in the league. you make it sound like he does not care, dude.

posted on another thread, the problem is not paying the biggest payroll in the league, the problem is paying the biggest payroll of the league on the wrong players. if he cares, he should give the green light to do something about it, because at the moment they're throwing (his) $$ out of the window more than anything else. you can have 30M$ invested in this player here and 40M$ invested in that player that, but who is that player? that's what he should care about.

Myers said the only GM to ever ask for Steph in a trade was Ainge and he was joking around.

If they continue to stink into next year, he might though. Steph is a loyal guy but we know he cares a great deal about his legacy and if it's being squandered, he could just have enough at some point. I still give it a less than 10% chance of happening, but it's not impossible, and therefore fair game for speculation on what would happen IMO. Not like anything people say here has any real consequences anyway, hell it's all a fantasy world where you can vent your frustrations, criticize with absolute conviction like you know more than everyone who actually plays and works in the league, and conjure ridiculous dreams of what your ideal team looks like.
