OT: Superbowl

Anyone watching?

Go 9ers.

Huge FG to get the scoring going, Superbowl record long made FG apparently.

A couple of exciting plays, but other than that, pretty boring game.

49ers defence is the MVP so far.

Defense showed up. Losing Dre is going to hurt. Hopefully the defense can keep it going

Prefer cricket

Followed NFL for a season back in the early nineties. One game a week on ABC with Don Lane. Steve Young was starting for the 9ers just before Joe went off to KC. But I ended up supporting the Eagles because Jim McMahon, covering for an injured Randal Cunningham, reminded me of Jack Nicholson in 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest'.

That's why I switched it over to the Nickelodeon coverage. SpongeBob and Patrick are part of the play-by-play team. And you get the occasional jellyfish across the screen.

If they leave it 7 and give Mahomes and Kelce a run at it down the stretch, I don't like their chances. They need to start piling on some points. But all things considered, could be worse.

Jeez, I was worried about the defense in this game but they've been good while the offense is a complete disaster. And great, now it looks like Deebo is out too.

The way this is going, I expect Garo Yepremian to kick the game winner.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I can't imagine paying for Super Bowl tickets. It can be once in a lifetime for sure, but these people attending must be making A LOT OF MONEY or have been saving for a long time.

Best RB in the league with ~1,500 rushing yards on the season, with 9 carries most of the way through the 3rd, SMH. I mean I guess you can't get too predictable and the Chiefs probably game planned around a lot of CMC runs, but at some point you need to go with what got you there. Especially with Aiyuk and Kittle completely shut down. Never felt this uncomfortable with a lead.

Welp, that's the game. Fun year while it lasted guys. Just can't see this offense getting anything going in time, it's a total disaster. (I'm sort of joking, but man they look bad).

Geeze that was unlucky, hitting the back of the 9ers players foot on that punt.

Finally strung together a few decent plays at least. What the hell have these guys been practicing for the last 2 weeks?
