We dont have tiebreaker over Sacramento, so they would need to lose 3 as well. And since they play Pelicans in one of them, the odds of both of those teams losing 3 of 4 is slim to none.

We don’t have the tie breaker with either New Orleans or sac?

Not with Sac. 2-2 vs them and they have the better division record.

Pelicans we would have the tiebreaker if we beat them in our upcoming game.

As long as we don’t have to fly to New Orleans I’m fine. Though a la vs sac 7/8 playin could move the lakers to play that 2nd play in game.

Tuesday will clarify a lot....

If we lose to Lakers, well its settled, we are going to be the 10 seed.

If we win, the 9th is very much in play.

If Kings lose to Thunder as well it gets a bit interesting for the 8th. And obviously if the Pelicans get a freak loss to Portland it gets even more interesting.

If we beat La then we’d have the tie breaker against them? Essentially making us 9th if we win out

Man, the east is just so bad, again. Cle really blew a 26 point lead with under 7 minutes left against a clippers team without harden or kawhi? wow. just wow.

ESPN writers are so bad I should know to check the play by play before relying on their written word. Cleveland was up 26 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd, not "with 6 minutes left." Still a massive choked job but not as bad as the article indicated.

The east is still bad. How are the bucks 2nd? Feels like they haven't won a big game all year.

Yup. Win against LA gives us the tie-breaker.

East is so bad except for the Celtics at the top. Celtics probably will win the 2024 champioship.

Ideally we beat LeBron in 9 vs 10 play in.
Beat Kinds Suns and Nuggets.
Beat Celtics in the finals with the media all predicting the Celtics to sweep the Warriors.

But I am dreaming. That dream will not come through. We have a mediocre team that can get hot for a few games but can’t get hot consistently enough to win the Western conference finals. If we lose 4 games to 2 in the Western conference finals I will declare moral victory and be happy.

SGA may play against the kings ...

If the Kings lose to OKC tomorrow things get really interesting.

If we beat the Lakers tomorrow we're ahead of them if we can win out. If GSW, Kings, Lakers can beat the pels then we can get the 8th seed and play the kings in the 7/8 seed. Then Lakers and Pels in 9/10.

Thats probably the best path to the 8th. Either that or the Kings losing to Thunder, Pelicans, Suns.

I hate how all of this relies on us winning 4 straight which is probably the least likely part of all these scenarios

If we beat the lakers our only tough game is the pels. I actually feel like winning 4 straight is easier. That pels game is going to be tough though.

Wiggins has been upgraded to probable. Dubs might be going for it, could really use that win vs the lakers.

If we win last 4 games

6th only theoretically 0.1%
7th need big surprises 2%
8th I like these chances 38%
9th the most likely outcome 60%
10th 0%

perfect scenario for us

Would the lakers fold if they have no chance to move up with the last game of the season. They would get 10th no matter if they win or lose that new orleans game, so essentially they get to choose where they want to fly to. Fly to New Orleans or fly to the bay for the 9/10 game. I feel like they have some quitter energy.

the tiebreaker could hurt us if we actually the 9th seed and play lakers at home. we are a worse team at home so i rather end up with 8th or 10th seed

Return to Golden State Warriors
