Games are running out. 5th seed Pelicans are unlikely to drop below the Warriors, but 9th seed Warriors with a good winning streak could pass 6th, 7th and 8th seed teams that have 3 less losses.

6th seed is unlikely but 7th seed is very much within reach.

Unfortunately, I think it's going to be more like Kobe's exit from the game - With Curry's very last game being some kind of ceremonial charade against a very bad team where Curry hoists up 50 three point attempts and nails 20 of them. Unfortunately, the festivities will be spoiled when Draymond gets tossed for headbutting a fan. :D

Draymond headbutting a fan is funny.

The sun's have a brutal schedule. We have 2 games left against the mavs and are only 2 losses away from them. Kings can lose to anyone. As bad as losing to the bulls and spurs are the 6th seed isn't out of reach. We should at the very least be in the 7 or 8 slot.

Knicks at Warriors tomorrow.
Knicks. Just beat the Kings in Sacramento.
Short bus trip to SF.
Knicks probably will try to win the game.
If Warriors sleepwalk the Warriors will lose.

mavs have an easy schedule too and won against DEN (a game they shoukd've lost).
those 2 unacceptable home Ls against bulls (beaten easily by the mavs few days later) and spurs likely sealed the deal.

I'm guessing this roster finishes 8-7 in their last 15 games with the way they are currently playing and end up with a 43-39 record.

The small ball lineup provided some spark but it was not sustainable and Draymond is wearing down with his 3 ball falling off a cliff.

at this rare they'll finish 10th in the west, likely lose the play in game. if HOU doesn't go on a roll.... what a lousy season.

3.5 games from the 8 seed...and 2.5 games away from Houston. Yikes. Maybe they can win a play-in game (likely they'll have to win 2), but I don't see them beating anyone in a 7 game series, especially having no time to rest because of the play-in.

Time to start dreaming about what the team can do with their draft pick. Oh wait, oops, never mind! :D

I actually think they have a better chance in a 7 game series than they do in the play-in. That's why I was fixated on the 6 seed. But the Steph and Dray injuries have ended the season.

Agreed. It will be a shame if the Warriors lose in the play-in and dont get a shot at potentially stealing a series from a less experienced top seed like the Thunder or Wolves. Basically anyone but the Nuggets feels like a team the Warriors could at least scare a bit. I just have zero confidence in winning two straight play-in games. Especially considering the other teams likely in the play in.

I see the logic but if they have to win 2 play-in games and then start a series 36 hours later I can see them struggling with fatigue against a well-rested higher-seeded team. They did get through Sacramento last year but just barely, and it took a heavy toll, they had nothing left for the Lakers.

Wizards did indeed win in the end though! As did the Magic. Looks like the Mavs are going to beat Utah though.

Forget looking ahead, we might need to start looking behind. The rockets are on fire.
