Thomas easy. Ortiz has gone over .300 once and that was by one thousandth. In seasons where Ortiz has played more than 100 games he's averaged 33.8 home runs. For Thomas it's 34.3. So Thomas is better in that aspect and he's also better in HR per AB. Thomas is better in nearly every aspect of hitting. Anyone who says Ortiz is nuts IMO.
