Hopefully, the defense builds off of last week. I know there are a lot of injuries on that side of the ball, but those injuries are also opportunities for young players like Kyle Furreal, Ferguson, Sutton and Vereen to prove they have the chops. (The new last name I gave Kyle is a tell to whether or not I think he has already proven that.)

Offensively, we'll have our hands full with a tough and well coached front 7, but I am confident we'll get our points. I think it will be somewhat of a low scoring game... in 24-17 or 24-20... BEARSE!

For some reason I thought we were playing the Giants, and I felt really confident. I don't really have a handle on how good the Jets are though. I also don't have a handle on how good the Bears are.

I think you have to win this game to prove that you can be consistent and to build on the win last week. Especially because it's such a beatable team. Hopefully the defense does build on top of last week's performance and can generate TOs from Geno Smith.

Hopefully Marshall and Jeffery are healthy so the offense can really get on a roll.

I think this will be a dominate win for us. Their defensive talent is similar to the 49ers. The CBs for the jets are average right now as are the Safties (49ers has an elite combo at safety). The pass rush and run defense is the obvious strength of the jets defense, right now I would say its better than the 49ers since half of their defense is gone. The difference is the offense. Geno has play very well, but they have been conservative. Our defense is going to be the best defense they face so far. They shouldn't be able to keep up with our offense. The problem is they have the Option threat which is very effective and they have a combo of speed and power in the backfield, which has proved problematic for us but Rex is very conservative.

27-17 bears.

I love prime time games, but I hate having to wait that long to watch a Bears game.

Hopefully Jeffery can get going for this game. He's started the season kind of slow. His injury hasn't helped him any.

look at it this way, you don't have to wait as long to see next week's game.

This just in...Our entire team is injured.

No Garza, Clauson, McClellin, and Ratliff. Jeffery and Marshall questionable.

Got to get this win somehow.

I doubt one of Marshall or Jeffery isn't going to play tomorrow. They don't have a great secondary so as long as one them plays we should win.

Not sure if they'll have Decker or Milliner either.

Regarding injuries... the kids just have to step up and show their stuff. Marcus Robinson was almost a training camp cut the year he replaced Conway after Conway was injured and played pro bowl worthy ball (got robbed not making it). Urlacher was a disappointment after losing the SLB job to Colvin his rookie year, but when Minter got injured and he got his chance he slammed the beer with it. We looked fine last week without Garza and Clausen... De La Puenta should probably be our starting C anyway and Ola did fine. We'll see what Bostic and Jones can do at LB and what Ego and Sutton can do at DT. I'm pretty sure Jefferey and Marshall are playing.

The sky isn't falling.

Then trestman said let there be pass.
The bears history with the forward pass has been underwhelming to say the least. Bears also have a history of being befuddled by the injury bug. :/
When guys causally predicted 4000 for jay i thought it was laughable. If u told me he could have 50 overall tds i think that would be be the more realistic homer view.

The qbs last year combined for 4000 plus yards and Jay is on pace for 4000 plus yards this year so I'm not sure what you're takking about.

Combined doesnt count of course and jay had under 200 yards last game which is closer to the bears norm than the alternative.

If Cutler stays healthy he will throw for 4000 plus yards this year. You can bet me on it if you want.

If we don't turn the ball over we are going to be really hard to beat this year .

Color me impressed so far. Doing everything right. Ola and DeLaPuente stepping up HUGE. Wow. The defense holding to FG's and stopping the run is something new.

These backups can't run block worth a poop. We were already reluctant to run the ball now we'll ten carries a game.

Like to get a little running game working here. Or at least get Forte the ball in space and let him go.
